When is Enough, Enough?
In his chapter Equality, Expectation, and Envy of his book Status Anxiety, Alain de
Botton analyzes the social anxieties of people. In his article, Botton explains the
possible causes of these dilemmas, and how these social issues affect our generation
today. Throughout the chapter, Botton discusses peoples longing to be better, the
impact of equality on the world, and the realistic results of high expectations and
hopes. Although modern society seems to have had a tremendous improvement of
resources over many generations, people fear that enough is not enough. Society

The expensive growth of wireless system and booming demand for variety of new
wireless application,it is important to design an antenna whose size,shape,weight
and cost will be less. If it is possible that a single antenna can work on more than
one frequency then it is good for us. So generally fractal antenna is used as multiband
antenna.
The fractal geometry concept can be used to reduce antenna size. So fractal shaped
antennas are good choice to reduce antenna size and get multiband behavior.
The fractal antenna can be classified on the basis of iteration as 0 iteration,1st
iteration,2nd iteration etc.
For fulfilling all the requirement introduced above fractal microstrip patch antennas

economic system and its social structure due to the multiple political and

In Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995, the Alfred P. Murrah Federal building was

a rental truck, which was placed there by Timothy McVeigh. McVeigh then parked
the truck on the north side of the Alfred P. Murrah building. At 9:02 A.M. the bomb

Political Ideologies Are The Best Way Of Governing A
Country
Introduction:
Political ideologies are the beliefs, morals and ethics held on what is the optimum
way of governing a country (Jost, Federico, Napier, 2009). They have long guided
the elected governments behaviour, particularly in effect to Social Policy decisions;
determining what policy initiatives will be elected and what is the best way of
implementing such policies. New Zealand has had various political ideologies
brought in by different governments; such as Social Democracy, Social Liberalism,
Neo liberalism, Neo Conservatism and Conservatism. For the basis of this Essay,
the focus will be on two of the most significant influences; Social Democracy and
Conservatism. Both ideologies have had period s of dominance in New Zealand s
Social policy history where they have impacted the general functioning of society.
Their view of the state, and general morals have been strongly reflected in the policy
initiatives there exponents have brought in. For Social Democracy, it being the 1938
Social Security Act and the various implementations of Keynesian Economic
Management in the 1940s and 1980s; and for Conservatism, the Pensions for miners
and returned servicemen, and the introduction of private prisons. The both having
considerable impact not only on New Zealand society but the development of more
progressive forms of political ideology. It will be argued that the resulting policies

In the Shakespearian play: The Taming of the Shrew, deception is one of the major
concepts. A tangled web is created in the play through deception of character
behavior and the change between clothing and class. Most of the deception in the
play have particular motives behind them and create dramatic irony. Shakespeare has
used dramatic irony to create a comedic play.
Character deception in The Taming of the Shrewis used largely, and Lucentio one of
the main characters in the play uses deception throughout some of the first few acts.
Lucentio, upon seeing the beauty of Bianca falls in love at first sight and wishes to
conjure a plan to woo her. Tranio (Lucentio s best friend) assists... Show more
Another clear example of character deception in The Taming of the Shrew is
Petruchio s deception of Katherine. Petruchio pretends that he loves Katherine so
much, that he cannot allow her to eat his inferior food or sleep in his poorly made
bed; all in the name of love . That bate and beat will not be obedient. She eat no
meat today, not none shall eat; last night she slept not, nor tonight she shall not,
(Act IV Scene I The Taming of the Shrew). The motive for Petruchio s deception of
Katherine is that he wishes to tame her. Katherine is the shrew of the play and has
needed to be tamed not through violence or words; but by actions of love .
All the character deception in The Taming of the Shrew creates dramatic irony.
Dramatic irony involves the reader/audience knowing something about what s
happening in the plot, about which the character(s) has/have no knowledge. Dramatic
irony can be used in comedic plays, such as this one to engage the reader/audience.
Throughout the play, characters are may be oblivious to recognising the truth,
however, the reader/audience can sympathise with this character because the reader
/audience knows the true motives of the circumstance. The characters mentioned
earlier create examples of dramatic irony. Lucentio disguises himself as Cambio;
