An introduction to the Next Generation of Recruiting Innovation

Web 3.0 advances the notion of the ‘ubiquitous, portable web’ and in some channels shows mobile as the future web experience of choice. Mobile media & technology forces us to rethink how we communicate. With over 4 billion subscribers, mobile is the most widely used mass media communication channel on the planet. Next to our keys, and money, we never leave home without our mobile device.
With mobile text-messaging, relevant content gets to candidates faster than ever. As companies invest in mobile for consumer marketing and tout sales increases of over 30% during targeted campaigns, marketing for employment isn’t far behind – and smart employers are measuring its impact in the applications, hires and response times.
It's not just speed alone—SMS/text-messaging is growing because:
¤ It’s intimate and requires “opt-in” participation. Nothing comes unsolicited.
¤ It's timely and convenient. There's no need to be near a desktop in order to receive the content that is important.
¤ It puts users in charge of the information flow (pull) while making content consumption more efficient.
¤ It’s measurable and offers immediate ROI.

BYOD User Survey 2015: Employees’ Choice for Mobility
In our latest whitepaper, get the data on employee preference when it comes to personal devices in the workplace and where their concerns lie. It shows a shift in how employees are choosing to work, with personal mobile phones gaining higher adoption.
This tyntec survey gathered responses from over 1300 professionals working in the US, UK and Spain. The results revealed that BYOD is the new norm across the board, but employers are lagging when it comes to policy. Employees expressed privacy and reimbursement concerns as well as a strong preference for separate phone numbers for work and personal use.

You aren't on Gab? Part 1 - the interview | Learn as I Learn - Digital Marke...Clayton Carroll
In September I wrote about the new social network Gab (www.gab.ai).
.
To follow-up on my initial blog, Gab: A First-in Social Network Opportunity, I conducted an email interview with their chief communications officer and also found some web stats to see if they had grown.
.
This is part one, where I focus on the data I found and an interview. Part two (next week), will look at what all this means for you and your business.
.
You might not have heard of the social network Gab since it is less than 6 months old but it is something that every business should take seriously: http://buff.ly/2jcLrdK
.
Gab, which is very similar to Twitter, grew from nothing in August 2016 to almost 4 million website hits in December 2016, which ranks it in the top 99.99% of websites in the world. Also, with 100,000 users and 200,000 more on wait lists in December 2016, any business can join Gab now and enjoy a first-mover advantage in their niche.
At #Source14 (www.flurrysource14.com) on April 22, 2014, Flurry CEO and President Simon Khalaf presented "The Age of Living Mobile". This data-rich presentation for 500+ attendees covers mobile disruption industry-by-industry, the rise of mobile addicts and the massive business opportunities ahead. Good publishers have had to lay off journalists and other staff in an effort to survive. Ad dollars spent by marketers are not going to them but instead of siphoned off by ad tech for themselves and also into the pockets of bad guys, using ad fraud to steal ad dollars.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.

Who’s on point: Michael
Summary of HEWSales Campaign:PURPOSE: Develop a mobile network for connecting and engaging future sales “talent” for Hewitt Associates. METHOD: Sales professionals are often “on-the-go”. Utilized SMS campaign via keyword “HEWSALES” (HEW = Hewitt’s stock symbol), along with the short-code 77950. Opt-in subscribers received a simple call-to-action: Email resume or click to view Hewitt’s Sales mobile site. Via the site, subscribers gained immediate access to the latest sales opportunities, as well as received occasional SMS-job alerts as new positions became available.MARKETING CHANNEL: Integrated SMS campaign across Hewitt’s social media channels (e.g., Linkedin Group, FB, and Twitter, etc.)
