Maam Mary Jane S. Romero, the Chief
Education Supervisor of SGOD started
the meeting with a welcome message
for the newly hired nurse. She asked
about the Nurse Melanie’s first day
experience as she started last April 12,
2024. Nurse Melanie told that they took
their oath of office on their first day and
actually started working in the Health
and Nutrition Services Unit last
Monday, April 15, 2024. She shared
that they were oriented by the Nurse-

general what abouts of the unit and
said that a detailed orientation will be
given by Dr. Kristine Santelices. Maam
Mary Jane seconded that it’s busy
nowadays hence the newly hired nurse
was called to duty immediately. Nurse
Melanie shared that she was
previously a coordinator of WinS hence
she readily adjusted and was prepared
especially after Dra. Amylou Celso,
Dentist II gave them orientation on
WinS Validation.
Maam Mary Jane discussed about the
job description of a Nurse II and
explained to Nurse Melanie that she’s
on her way preparing the KRA’s that
need to be accomplished. She advised
Nurse Melanie to prepare expected
outputs for each KRA. She added her
plans to the Health and Nutrition
Services with emphasis on the actual
works and expected output from the
nurses. She explained that it would be

more beneficial to Dr. Kristine
Santelices if the nurses were doing
their actual responsibilities especially
that the Division has only one Medical
Officer. She encouraged Nurse
Melanie to accomplish her tasks and
emphasized the importance of having
deliverables which would help the
organization in its decision-making
through the data submitted by the
nurses.
Maam Mary Jane once again
congratulated and gave her words of
support to the newly hired nurse.
The meeting was adjourned @ 3:40 PM.
