This document summarizes the planning and production process for a short film called "Memoria". The film was to be a 2-3 minute black and white video set in a suburban London neighborhood in the year 2054. It would follow a character trying to break from a harsh reality through dreams. Locations included a run-down area to represent reality and a beautiful spot to depict dreams. The team created concept maps, synopses, schedules and storyboards. They divided roles and permissions and considered stylistic techniques like quick editing. With more time and resources, they felt they could have improved location access, sound design, camerawork and visual effects to better realize their sci-fi thriller concept.

 Our main Concept of our short film, follows a character whos is trying to break a
harsh reality through his dreams.
 Type of Content we wanted:
 Gain a lot of dark atmospheric shots
 desolate / run down locations
 eerie feel
 make it feel isolated
 We also needed light, bright, cheerful and beutiful shots for the dream sequence.

Approaches
 Our main approach to the film was not necesserily to find a dark location in
which we could use as the harsh reality, but to find a slightly abandoned
building to shoot around as we could later add the desired feel of the shots
while we were editing.

 With more time we could have better developed our narrative and
planned our shots.
 More and better access to locations with different shots
 Mix a better atmospheric sound track
 Had better footage with better camera and stabiliser tripod
 Also realized once we were editing that our shadows were in some of
the shots, so next time be wary of the sun and our position.
