Dear potential and current Members
Your membership at COMETSA Friends and Supporters Club NPO includes you being classified into various groups.
There are geographic groups that are mandatory, from which you can only choose a Province, Country, Region, and Continent.
For example, I am based in Gauteng Province, so my first mandatory geographic group is Gauteng Provincial Members (RSA)
Group. My Province is found in the country, South Africa. Therefore, my second mandatory geographic group is South Africa
Country Members (RSA) Group. My country is in Southern Africa. My third mandatory geographic group is Southern African
Region Members Group. The region is found in the AFRICAN continent. My fourth and last mandatory geographic group is
Continental Africa Members Group.
So, my four mandatory geographic membership groups will be
 Gauteng Provincial Members (RSA)
 South Africa Country Members (RSA)
 Southern African Region Members
 Continental Africa Members
That’s the minimum number of groups I can allocate myself to when applying, maintaining, and renewing my membership or when I
am revising my group allocations online. These geographic groups are strategical in servicing our members and they must always
be correct.
The other groups are referred to as Professional Groups. These are the groups that you want to belong to over and above your
minimum mandatory geographic groups. They represent your areas of profession, specialization, and/or career. You must be
qualified academically, by virtue of your experience, credentialing, and/or accreditation. They are not your areas of interest or
desire, and you must allocate yourself to any of them without first going through the following application process:

 Identify the group that you know you qualify to belong to
 Request Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) forms from COMETSA GoC
International (Pty) Ltd, email: callcentre@cometsa-goc.com or mobile number: +27 (0) 72 376 7503; attention: COMETSA
Shared Services.
 Complete and sign the MoU and NDA forms, scan them back to the above email address.
 Attach your one pager professional profile with your professional colour shoulder photo
 Attach your detailed curriculum vitae, certificate copy of your highest qualification, credentialed certificate from your
professional federation or organization, and membership certificate (or a signed reference letter) of at least one professional
body you belong to, three original reference letters from three current clients, and a certified copy of your ID
 Interview: COMETSA Administrators will process your application and if satisfied that you meet the criteria of the group you
applied for; they will schedule an interview with the management.
 If successful you will be officially recognized as an associate of COMETSA GoC International (Pty) Ltd. That means you are
deployable for programmes and projects when the opportunities become available.
 Having signed MoU and NDA forms and being recognized as an Associate does not mean business opportunities will be
directly assigned to you. It just means that you will be considered with other fellow associates and compete for such
opportunities.
 Once a business opportunity is assigned to you, you will enter contract negotiations with COMETSA Shared Services
 If appointed a contract will be signed between you and COMETSA GoC International (Pty) Ltd.

Note: If you allocate yourself wrongly to groups during your membership application, maintenance, and/or renewal, COMETSA
office will override your choice, and reallocate you according to the groups they believe you qualify for.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Members are not allowed to approach the associates/members of the professional groups and recruit
them for their own programmes/projects using their membership of COMETSA Friends and Supporters Club NPO as the basis of
such approach. Any member found practicing this behavior will lose his membership with our organization. The membership of the
groups lapses with the membership of the organization. This means that members must make sure that their membership is up to
date to avoid being de-registered from the groups or refused participation in programmes/projects, or any other opportunity.
