I chosethese colors because I felt they would be a good combination of
colors that represents many different moods. Itwill be able to pop out my
background, callto actions and the other little areas that color is needed. The
purple is a secondary coolcolor that stands for creativity and imagination. White
pops out area and brightens it up. I feel that all these colors and very well
connected and will make my webpagelook and stand out to the public and bring
out the areas that I would like it to. Purple also shows wealth “In design, dark
purples can give a sensewealth and luxury” (Chapman, 2010, sect. purple). My
color combo has a combination of tins, tones, and shades. They all match
together. “As you can see from the color schemes above, using tints, tones, and
shades in your color schemes is vital. Pure hues all have similar values and
saturation levels. This leads to a color schemethat is both overwhelming and
boring at the same time” (Chapman, 2010, sect. why shades, tones, and tints are
important). I feel that these 5 colors will make my website “pop”.

2. The font I chose to use is called Questrial. It’s a very good font for a header
and body text. Ithas one form of it “Regular”. It’s has a heavy influence with swiss
design. Itcan be blended very well with other fonts. The sans serif fonts have
different emotions it plays to the people. They are; simple, sensible,
straightforward, easy to read, and neutral. Questrial is a sans serif font becauseit
is simple, easy to read and can be used for a header or body. Having an easy to
read font is very good. You don’twant people struggling to read your text
because they will give up and leave, and that’s not good. The text is nice and
rounded on a low level. What I mean by that is it doesn’thave extra things on the
end of the letters or numbers like somefonts do. It’s simpleand clean. I feel this
text will be a very good font to usefor my header, sub header and body text.
People will enjoy the simplicity and easy to read text.
