FIRST CONDITIONAL (Future)
Structure
If + present simple, + will
For example:

We are talking about the future, but we use a
present tense for the condition and will for the
result. In this case, the person is sure about
going to university.
If I win a million dollars…
If I win a million dollars…I’ll travel the world with
my family.
If I get a puppy for my birthday…
If I get a puppy for my birthday…I’ll be the
happiest woman in the world.
• We can also use May / Might to say that
something is possible, but not certain.
Example:
If Amy doesn’t study for her exam, she may
fail the class.
We’re not 100% of the result, but this is a
possibility.

(but sometimes, people who eat unhealthy, stay slim)
