Nigeria adopted several strategies from the Dakar Framework for Action in 2000 to improve education, including increasing access to primary education, improving learning achievement, promoting gender equity, reducing illiteracy, and expanding education programs. However, it is unclear how many of these strategies Nigeria is actually implementing and whether budget allocations match activities. To investigate this issue, sources that can be interviewed or analyzed include ministries, agencies, international organizations, research institutions, and community members. The media should report on issues like education budgets, policies, and performance to better inform the public and give them a voice in issues that affect them.
