The student learned how to use Photoshop software to design and create a music magazine. Photoshop provided various tools like layers, colors, shapes, effects, and formatting options that were essential to designing each element and overall layout of the magazine. At first the many tools were confusing, but the student learned how features like the color picker, shape tool, layers, and formatting helped make the magazine visually appealing and organized. Without Photoshop, the student could not have designed a professional-looking magazine.

2. During the time I was making my music
magazine, I had to use Photoshop, this
is a software that helps produce
magazine of all sorts. It was really
helpful and helped me a lot, without it I
wouldn’t have made a good music
magazine.

3. When you first enter
Photoshop you are
introduced to a page that
looks like this.
At first this was very confusing
because all I saw was a bunch of
tools and no where to start my
magazine.

4. This bit is important because its
where we decide what kind of paper
we are going to use and what part of
the magazine we are going to start
off with but we had to start off with
the front page of our magazine and
as you can see we had to choose
international paper with a size of A4.
This is how it looks nice after you
have put in the setting you want
and then pressed ok. After this bit
you are ready to start our front
page of our magazine.

function I wouldn’t be
able to create a
magazine. They are
all important and they
helped in relation in
making my magazine
creative.

6. This is where I change the colour
of a certain thing, it is also where I
can put effects on images or text.
This is really good because with
effects on certain things, it gives it
a different meaning and can
connote many things, the good
thing about that is that it makes
the audience more involved and a
better understanding.
This section is where I can
organize things. For example
if I wanted a text behind an
image all I do is drag the text
below the image. This was
really helpful because if it
wasn’t there I will be confuse
as what is what and it will
mess my magazine. It just
keeps my magazine tidy.

7. This was one of the fun and creative part about doing my magazine.
This is the colour picker. It consists of a range of different colours.
This was important and useful for my magazine. Without a colour
picker my magazine would be plain and boring and it won’t attract
any readers. I think colour is one of the main feature that attracts the
readers.
The colour picker also has a range of the same colour for example
like above, the pink changes from white, light pink, dark pink, pinkish
purple to black, again this is good because if a colour is too bright or
too dark you can pick in-between and that is what I had to do a lot
because I wanted the colour of my magazine to be just right.

8. This is the shape tool. This
was another important
feature used for my
magazine. Without the
shape tool my magazine
wouldn’t follow the codes
and conventions
You press the shape
tool and you decide
what shape you want.
Then you hold down
anywhere on the paper
and you drag depending
on how big you want the
shape to be.
When you have
finished that you can
change the colour of
the shape and you
can also put effects
on it too.

9. During my time doing my Music Magazine I didn’t
have any technology obstructing or limiting my
creative process because to make a music
magazine was in Photoshop but I know that if I
knew more about Photoshop my magazine will be
much better because I will have more creative
elements in my magazine.
But overall I think without Photoshop my
magazine wouldn’t look like a Music Magazine.
