2. For my film opening I have chosen Lionsgate Entertainment

3. The distribution of a film is the process through which a movie is
made available to watch for an audience by a film distributor. For
example, with a theatrical release, a home entertainment release (in
which the movie is made available on DVD-Video or Blu-ray Disc) or
a television program for broadcast syndication and may include
digital distribution.
Also, there are many stages which a film needs to go through to get
into cinemas:
Firstly, the film is out together by the director, screenwriter etc
because an independent investor has invested in the film, then it is
shown to distributers of cinemas, the prints are then sent out to
advertise the movie and lastly, people buy the tickets and what it
4. Distributing my Film Opening
My film is more of an Art House Production more than a Commercial
Multiplex film because it is mainly targeted to a small group
between the ages of 15-18 but I feel attracts both genders. This is
because of the male protagonist which targets a male audience,
however, mysteries/dramatic films make people feel worry and
emotion which boys tend to not like.
Furthermore, I would rate my film a 15 because it will include factors
which are not suitable for an audience under 15 such as disturbing
aggressive scenes.
