The student learned several technologies through constructing their media product. They learned how to edit videos and manipulate sound using iMovies software. They also learned techniques like depth of field and camera angles when using a digital camera. Additionally, using a tripod helped prevent shaky footage. Finally, internet sites like Wix, YouTube, and Google were useful for processing, presenting, and researching their product.

2. Software -
iMovies
• Throughout the process of constructing my media
product I have learned how to edit videos by using the
software iMovies. Furthermore, I learned that
technologies such as editing software can enhance
your product and manipulate it into creating
something you desire. For example, for my product I
wanted to create a dramatic scene with suspense so I
used iMovies to do sound mixing and add different
diegetic sounds layering them to create a masterpiece.
Not only that but it also allowed me to have a sense of
control. I edited the video with a zoom in effect
without actually needing to zoom on the actual
camera.

• Using a digital camera I learned so many things about it
and how I could capture the perfect video for my product.
There were a lot of techniques that I learned throughout
the process of constructing my product such as camera
techniques like depth of field. It is important to explore
new camera techniques because it allows you to become
more creative with your photography. camera angles is
important as camera techniques as it gives a different
feeling to an imagine furthermore, different perspectives
as things are shown through different angle, for example a
photograph of a person from a low angle will make the
person seem powerful and dominant
• I also learned how to use a microphone and noticed it
made a huge difference to my media product.The audio
sounded more clearer and it cancelled out a lot of
background noise and captured the dialogue between my
characters clearly. In addition, using a tripod was also very
handy as it prevented my video from being shaky and held
a straight frame.

4. Internet
Sites – Wix,
Google,
Youtube etc.
• I learned that technology is very useful when it comes
to processing my product as it helps put everything
together. Internet site such asWix helped me construct
all my evaluation and media product together so it is
easily presentable. Furthermore,YouTube has been a
huge platform that helped me finalize my product so
my audience can see it. Not only that but the internet is
all linked therefore I could link myYoutube where my
main product is to myWix. Google is a search engine so
you could find out a lot of information. I used this
advantage to research into real media products.
Although I already know how to use Google therefore I
have not learned anything however that was because
Google is very simple and easy to use!
