The document discusses options for naming a school magazine, choosing "CP Magazine" as the title. It analyzes different fonts for the magazine title, selecting "Century Gothic" and "Eras Light ITC" as eye-catching but readable. An image is chosen for the magazine cover to encourage following school regulations. The color scheme of yellow, green, and white is selected to represent the school logo and brand the magazine as school-related.
Keeping Our Ties In Place: Three Tie Accessories We Might Likecustomties
Some corporate offices have a formal setting where everyone from the employees to the employers are asked to dress up in suits and ties. In cases like these, it might be a good opportunity to have our own uniform corporate ties.
These corporate ties are of course custom made to the corporation’s specifications, the whole design is decided upon by the officers or even all of the members. Hence, this type of ties allows us to have another way to promote our name.

I have put together a presentation on how my magazine is going to be presented along with what will be in it and how it will draw the targeted audience in.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

JMeter webinar - integration with InfluxDB and GrafanaRTTS
Watch this recorded webinar about real-time monitoring of application performance. See how to integrate Apache JMeter, the open-source leader in performance testing, with InfluxDB, the open-source time-series database, and Grafana, the open-source analytics and visualization application.
In this webinar, we will review the benefits of leveraging InfluxDB and Grafana when executing load tests and demonstrate how these tools are used to visualize performance metrics.
Length: 30 minutes
Session Overview
-------------------------------------------
During this webinar, we will cover the following topics while demonstrating the integrations of JMeter, InfluxDB and Grafana:
- What out-of-the-box solutions are available for real-time monitoring JMeter tests?
- What are the benefits of integrating InfluxDB and Grafana into the load testing stack?
- Which features are provided by Grafana?
- Demonstration of InfluxDB and Grafana using a practice web application

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

PHP Frameworks: I want to break free (IPC Berlin 2024)Ralf Eggert
In this presentation, we examine the challenges and limitations of relying too heavily on PHP frameworks in web development. We discuss the history of PHP and its frameworks to understand how this dependence has evolved. The focus will be on providing concrete tips and strategies to reduce reliance on these frameworks, based on real-world examples and practical considerations. The goal is to equip developers with the skills and knowledge to create more flexible and future-proof web applications. We'll explore the importance of maintaining autonomy in a rapidly changing tech landscape and how to make informed decisions in PHP development.
This talk is aimed at encouraging a more independent approach to using PHP frameworks, moving towards a more flexible and future-proof approach to PHP development.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.

2. Name
•HCTC Magazine
•CP Magazine
•Harris Weekly
•The News of Harris
•Harris Entertainment
•Grand Palace
•Crystal News
These are the various options I have opted to choose
from for the title of the magazine. All of which
immediately indicates that this magazine is in relation
to the school. However, not all of the names
mentioned can be used such as ‘The News of Harris’;
this is long and remotely uninteresting of which
would make it assumed that this magazine is not to
the readers liking. It also doesn’t stand out of which
is necessary to have many readers to grow
accustomed to the magazine. Other titles such as ‘CP
Magazine’ is simple and significant to the purpose of
the magazine. The initials of ‘CP’, represent Crystal
Palace, shows the reader that this is a magazine
which represents their school; this of which is
effective to use the initials of the school name for the
name of the school magazine. This is the reason why I
have chosen the title of ‘CP Magazine’ for the name
of my magazine. Not only does it stand out from the
others but is bold and significant. It is also eye
catching and immediately recognisable by others.
3. Font
The Font mood board shows a
variety of different fonts, which
I have opted to choose from for
the title block. The title will
need to be bold and eye
catching of which will need to
immediately grab the readers
attention. There are various
types of fonts, of which can be
simple yet daring such as Arial,
this of which is simple yet bold
however, it is not one of the
most eye catching of fonts of
which would cause the reader
not to read the magazine. The
fonts that I have chosen are:
•Century Gothic
•Eras Light ITC
I have chosen these fonts
because they are readable and
understandable by the reader
of which is a necessity for a
magazine. These fonts are going
to be made to be bold and eye
catching to the reader as shown
below:
CP
MAGAZINE
4. Images
I have taken a variety of photos to be used for my
magazine however I have chosen the third picture for the
cover. This is because she is representing herself as a
working student in the correct uniform which will
encourage students to follow the same regulations. I will
also be using the first photo for the contents page
because of the same reason.
6. Colour Scheme
The colour scheme that I will be using for the school magazine are yellows, green and white; this is because
these colours represent the school logo, which gives an immediate indication of what the magazine is
about and that it relates to the school. The colours are going to be bold and eye catching to the reader,
which will entice them to purchase the magazine. The colours will be the same on every page, to keep it
simple and basic and would allow readers to be accustomed to these colours in relation to the purpose of
the magazine.
