Duties And Responsibilities
 Technical review of quotations, sub contracts, materials and finalization of those in coordination
with contract and purchase department.
 Review of Contract / Design drawing and rise of RFI (request for information) where deficiencies
or ambiguities are identified.
 Review of shop drawings, material submittal and quality of sub contractor’s work with the contract
specification / drawings / Estidama compliance / authority regulations and ignition of field notices
where deficiencies or ambiguities are identified.
 Conduct the required technical / coordination meetings to boost the site progress and quality of
work.
 Preparation of MEP coordination drawings and RCP (reflected ceiling plan).
 Preparation of testing and commissioning schedule and reports as per project plan and project
requirements.
 Undertake inspection of the mechanical works for Contractor’s adherence to the approved shop
drawings and Consultant’s specification, good working practices and construction schedule.
 Conduct inspection for Mechanical works as per the ITP along with Consultant by completion of
works(HVAC, FIRE FIGHTING, PLUMBING, LPG, SWIMMING POOL, GARBAGE CHUTE).
 Strictly follow up & chase the sub-contractors to complete the project as per target program & in
budget cost.
 Preparation of daily and monthly based MEP constructionreport.
 Site Meeting with consultants and clients.
 Coordination among the contractors during the site workprogress.

2.  Assigned as Independent Commissioning Engineer for 147 villas in bloom gardens as per
Estidama credit IDP-R2 PVRS
 Installation and testing commissioning of water supply and drainagesystem (Portable water network
by PPR Piping inclusive of transfer pumps and booster pumps, solar/electric/central water heater
and Sanitary outlets and mixers. Drainage network by upvc piping inclusive of manhole schedule
with invert level and cover level in coordination with municipality reference levels and submersible
pumps).
 Installation and testing commissioning of firefightingsystem(sprinkler system, hose reel system
with fire pumps "Jocky, electrical & diesel" and fire alarm incorporation with zone control valves
,OS&Y valves, flow sensor, alarm check valve assembly and dry riser system with breeching inlet
and landing valves).
 Installation and testing commissioning of clean agent/NOVEC fire suppression system
 Installation and testing commissioning of HVACSystem(direct expansion system ,chilled water
system, ventilation system , smoke management system with all related ducting, piping and
controls.
 Installation and testing commissioning of central LPGSystem(copper piping with PRDP, solenoid
vales, auto shut off valve, isolation valves and deluge system accordance with UAE civil defense
regulations and guidelines).
 Installation and testing commissioning of Garbage chutesystem.
 Installation and testing commissioning of swimming pool system (filtration pumps, sand filters UV
treatment system, chemical dosing system and water temperature control system with Heat cool
pump)
 Undertake final project snagging and prepare list of defects forContractor’s action.
 Monitor and promote health and safety on the site. If required stopthe construction works if unsafe
practices are beingfollowed.
