 Hands-on implementation of mainframe conversion of a Honeywell mini system and its
conversion to an IBM RISC system with zero downtime (even though the raised floor
collapsed at midnight)

Engineered a Novell network with custom flight-analysis software for joint Hughes-Grumman radar
systems group.
 Developed a telecommunications network of IBM compatible PC’s throughout and between
Hughes Aircraft at Point Mugu and Grumman in New York for logistics support of 100+
PCs and 80 + users with Novell’s first network release (Omniware)
 Installed network infrastructure
 Analyzed, designed and programmed custom software for aviation and radar engineers
 Configured and installed custom PC’s for engineers and test pilots
 Implemented automatic 30 days, random generating user passwords
I left this position with the operations so finely honed, that an engineer was able to take over
network maintenance, part time, saving a position as the program came to a close.

 Singly stood up the first deployable team of active duty Marines at the brigade level.
 Overall responsible for performing site preparation and installation of remote

 I was the sole female Marine in a 10-thousand-man brigade,
 Trained Marines for continuous readiness for deployment.
