The marketing research process involves defining a problem, obtaining and analyzing data, and recommending and applying solutions. Common research methods include surveys, focus groups, experiments, and observation. Care must be taken when writing surveys to make questions clear, brief, appealing, and consistently scaled while placing personal questions at the end.
