rights.
 Paris became worse due to a bread
shortage in September
 During this time there were many plots
designed for royal family to escape
 the queen rejected to leave
 she would not leave without the king
Trial
 The trial of the king in court began on 21
September
 he was charged with undermining the French
Republic
 A month later found guilty and executed 21
January 1793
 After the death of her husband she refused to eat
and fell in a deep depression
 On 1 August, she was taken out of the tower as a
prisoner
