The Mariacki Church is located in Krakow's Main Square in Poland. According to legend, two brothers were building the church's towers but the younger brother killed the older out of jealousy. He then committed suicide by throwing himself from one of the church's windows. The church, built in the 14th century, is a Gothic symbol of Krakow along with the Wawel Castle and Cloth Hall. Its stunning interior features a priceless carved altarpiece by Veit Stoss depicting scenes of Mary.
