I have cropped the image using the rule of thirds to make it more aesthetically pleasing and in line with conventions in the Indy genre. I also removed creases in the background with the spot healing tool to give the image a more consistent feel. Additionally, I enhanced certain colors and skin tones with the human saturation tool to further enrich and professionalize the look of the image based on techniques common in this genre.

The slow growth rate of palm trees meant the population outstripped the environment's ability to recover, leading to soil erosion, agricultural and fishing declines, societal collapse, and a much smaller population by the time Europeans arrived. The Easter Island case illustrates the risks of an institutional failure to effectively respond to environmental pressures from overpopulation and overuse of resources.

Manipulation
- 1. BEFORE AFTER I have cropped the image to apply the rule of thirds. This makes the image more athletically pleasing as you subconsciously look at invisible guide line. Also this technique contributes to the expected conventions of the genre of Indy. Additionally It give a more professional feel to the image and makes it look more natural. I have used the spot healing tool to remove all the creases in the grey background as it give the image a more consistent feel. I felt the creases added a armature tone to the image and was not necessary in the image. I used the human saturation tool to enhance particular colours in the image and heighten the skin tones. I felt this would enrich the image and make it more professional. In my product research it was evident that artist of this particular genre heavily manipulated the image so I tied to incorporate this in to me design.
