The author used several tools in Photoshop to edit pictures for a magazine, including tools to adjust brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation. The eyedropper and brush tools were used to smooth blemishes, and the black and white tool created a unique look for the front cover. Additional editing of clarity, vibrance, and saturation in Camera Raw 7.0 further enhanced the photos.

5. To edit my pictures I used photo shop and a
number of different tools to make them match the
way I wanted them to look. I used tools such as
brightness and contrast to make the photo more
visible and more easy to look at. I used the
eyedropper tool and the brush tool to smoothen
out blemishes in my photos. I used the hue and
saturation tool to make my picture get an edgier
look and gave each one their own unique tone.
For my front cover I also used the black and white
tool to create a unique look and give my
magazine the certain that I wanted.
