BACKGROUND OF THESTUDY • Increasing in mobile and computer industry to support a wide range of technologies. • Research proved that providing laptop for employees as a top priority. • The concept of “bring your own device” (BYOD) is a trend. Convenience to employees. • From corporate perspective, there is cost savings to decrease hardware replacements. bring your own device

PROBLEM STATEMENT The useof personal computers have brought many problems to the workers. • Time-cost - Computers often suffer from damages and disruptions require high maintenance. • Not efficient – Damages and disruptions diminish efficiency of workers and reduce productivity. • Non-flexibility - The use of PCs is non-portable, wider space consumption and had limits flexibility of work.

OBJECTIVES • To examinethe perceived benefits of laptop use such as : • reducing operational and maintenance cost • providing flexibility • increase work efficiency and productivity. • To assess the interest to use laptop for work purposes. • To give recommendation on how to improve work efficiency, productivity and reduce cost of the organization.
