OER Wales Cymru is holding a Champions Network event in April 2015 in Cardiff to discuss their open educational resources (OER) portal and a massive open online course (sMOOC). The event will focus on why OER is important, what progress has been made so far, and how others can get involved through joining the Champions Network, attending the OER15 conference, or checking out the OER Wales Cymru portal and blog. The portal aims to provide bilingual OER and allow students to co-create course materials using open digital badges to recognize their contributions.
