This document discusses aspects of effective speech delivery. It identifies some key elements: speaking clearly so the entire audience can understand, speaking loudly enough for all to hear, making eye contact with the audience to create a personal connection, maintaining proper proximity, having a commanding presence, and using gestures to demonstrate passion and animation. may help while delivering a speech.

• All of the members of the audience should be
able to understand what you are saying. You
don’t want an audience member to get the
wrong idea because they couldn’t understand
what your are saying.

• All of the people who attend your seminar
need to be able to hear every word that you
say even if they are in the farthest corner of
the venue.

9. Make Eye Contact

• Make sure that you speak to the audience and
not to the ground or the screen. Also make
sure to scan the entire audience so each
attendee feel somewhat a of a personal
connection.

Make sure that you maintain a
proper distance between you and
your audience.

• You must have a commanding presence on
stage so that your confidence automatically
engages the audience and makes them want
to listen to what you have to say.

passion for what you are speaking it also gives
a visualization to how animated the speaker is.
