magnetic therapy
The body is not based simply on biochemical reactions,
but also electro-magnetic interactions.
What is the History of magnetic
therapy?
Surprising history of magnets and
Mesoamerica
Story Time
Once up on a time …
A common misperception: is that magnetic
therapy attracts the iron in blood. This is
false.
The iron in hemoglobin is in a chemically-
bound state. It's not magnetically-sensitive.
Negative magnetic fields enhance the body's ability to quickly
adapt and regulate these biological responses. This leads to
greater pain relief and faster healing.
• Treatment with magnets is effective for Sinusitis, Headache, Acute Rhinitis, Back
pain, Gastritis, Cervical Spondylitis, Menopause, Arthritis. The secretion of
hormones is also regulated and this improves the luster of the skin.
ALTERNATIVE THERAPY
• Alternative Therapy is a unique combination of
1. Naturopathy,
2. Panchakarma,
3. Reflexology,
4. Acupressure,
5. Magneto Therapy,
6. Sujok Therapy,
7. Thai Therapy,
8. Zone Therapy,
9. Meridianology,
10. Aromatherapy &
11. Marma Chikitsa.
ALTERNATIVE THERAPY
• It is a treatment without drug.
• Alternative Medicine is a system of natural
therapeutics based on vitality and self
healing ability of living organisms.
• For example, application of a specific
pressure on particular areas of the feet helps
balance the system.
• It works on the principle that there are
reflexes in the feet corresponding to every
part of the body.
• This holistic system serves to relax, improves
the functioning of all body systems,
promoting a general feeling of wellness and
harmony.
Magnetic Therapy
• Magnetic Therapy is an alternative medical
practice that uses static (i.e. unmoving) magnets
to alleviate pain and other health concerns.
• So-called therapeutic magnets are typically
integrated into bracelets, rings, or shoe inserts,
though therapeutic magnetic mattresses and
clothing are also on the market.
• Magnetotherapy is effective in healing pain since
magnetic waves pass through the tissues and
induce secondary currents which reduce pain and
swellings.
Magnetic Therapy
• It can be considered as a treatment through
application of magnets.
• The human body itself is a magnet, when there is
imbalance in the flow between the two poles,
disease ensues.
• Energy flows at certain frequency between the
two poles of each cell/organ.
• The earth and the human body are magnets,
which is why we are told to sleep with our head
facing the north.
How to cure diabetic foot pain?
How to cure diabetic foot pain?
• uses electromagnetic frequencies which are
adjusted to your body to normalize the
functioning of cells.
rTMS(Transcranial magnetic
stimulation) Therapy.
• ranscranial magnetic stimulation is used to treat
depression and other psychological issues by
stimulating the brain non-invasively using
electromagnetic fields, similar to those produced
by an MRI machine.
• During TMS Therapy, a magnetic field is
administered in very short pulses to the part of
your brain that research has demonstrated to be
associated with depression
How does Transcranial
Magnetic Stimulation work?
HOW MAGNET THERAPY WORK
• There are several ways to block the
transmission of the pain impulse to
the brain.
• One is the use of an anesthetic
block.
• A second is the use of drugs which
act on the hypothalamus of the
brain to dull the pain.
• The third is the use of Magnetic
Therapy to impede the flow of the
nerve impulse.
Signs of Depression
– Symptoms
• A loss of interest in once enjoyed activities
• Heavy dwelling on the past (especially on situations or
occurrences that have not gone right)
• Thoughts of committing suicide
• Problems with managing anger and mood
• Abnormal levels of anxiety
• Irritability and loss of patience
Physical signs of depression include:
• Too much sleep
• Insomnia and restlessness when trying to sleep
• Unusual weight gains
• Abnormal loss of weight
• Unable to concentrate on tasks or activities
• Unusual pains and aches
'Magnet therapy' can boost memory and
offers hope for Alzheimer's patients
• By placing a highly powerful Negative
Magnetic field over the body pain nerve, the
magnetically, positively charged ions will be
attracted to the negative magnetic field, this
impeding the flow of the positively charged
ions along the nerves to the brain.
• Of course, some of the positive ions will
escape, thereby allowing continued
sensation, increase blood circulation and also
start Iron balancing in body.
• However, research reveals that the longer
the magnets are in place over the affected
site, the more effective the negative magnetic
field will become, Thus, the longer the
product is used, the more effective it
becomes and also it will balance body Iron for
Pain Relief, smooth blood circulation to
increase healing power.
Magnetic Therapy for Thyroid
• The Thyroid function responds quickly to Pulsed
Electromagnetic Field Therapy.
• They increase tissue phosphorylization, which aids in
fibroblast proliferation and the healing of tissue. It
increases the level of alkaline phosphatase at fracture
sites, which expedites healing of fractures. It affects
the membranes of red blood cells, decreasing rouleaux
formation and increasing oxygenation of tissue. There
are a multitude of other salutary effects of magnets on
a basic cellular level, which are just beginning to be
appreciated. So, although magnets themselves do not
heal an injury, they increase blood circulation to the
affected area, thereby helping the body to heal more
quickly.
About Magnet
• Ceramic magnets are used as bio-magnet .
• ceramic magnets has low Gauss power and using ceramic
magnets having low penetration on body so it’s doesn’t
effect to depth penetration.
• Neodymium magnets are most powerful magnets so we
can use north polo neodymium magnet for
1. Depth penetration,
2. Fast pain Relief,
3. Smooth blood circulation for healing and
4. Maintain body iron balance.
various types of magnet therapy.
• Static magnetic field therapy: With this method, you
touch a magnet to your skin by wearing a magnetized
bracelet, bandage, shoe insole or mattress pad.
• Electronically charged magnetic therapy: With this
method, the magnets used are electrically charged
with an electric pulse.
• Magnetic therapy with acupuncture: With this
method, a magnet is placed in the same section of your
body that an acupuncturist would focus on during an
acupuncture session in an attempt to clear your energy
pathways or channels.

Effects purported by users and
practitioners of magnetic therapy are:
• Increased circulation for old injuries
• Reduced circulation and less
swelling for sprains and strains
• Enhanced immune function
• More restful sleep
• Stress relief
• Reduced or cessation of pain.

Biological and Therapeutic Functions
of Magnetized Water:
• It can prevent damage to the endothelium
• The viscosity of the water is lowered
• Magnetised water greatly improves the
solubility of calcium
• It has been found to seemingly increase the
weight of the spleen
• • It has been found to seemingly increase the
content of the body's immunoglobulin and
enhance the phagocytosis
• It can lower the content of blood plasma urea
and free amino acid
• Magnetized water has been shown to assist
in the protection of the stomach mucous,
promote small intestine movement, and
increase the active dissolution of food
• • The treating scope of magnetized water is
such that it can prevent, alleviate or
cure arteriosclerosis,
hypertension (abnormally high blood pressure
, especially in the arteries, or a diseased
condition of which this is the chief
symptom), coronary heart diseases are also
able to be treated.
• • Gargling with magnetized water may
fight gum disease.
• - from “Magnet Therapy with Burton
Goldberg”
There are generally three theories into the
application of magnets on the body:
Magnets Do
Not Block Pain
Signals, They
Treat the
Cause of
the Pain.
Polarity and area of effect of
therapeutic magnets
A Quadrapolar Q Magnet is a multipolar (i.e., Quadrapolar on one side) static magnet made of
the highest quality rare earth neodymium magnetic material with a 1.35 Tesla or 13,500 Gauss
rating at its strongest point and Energy Product of 45 MGOe (N45). The name Quadrapolar
comes from the four alternating poles on the one face of the magnet.
Quadrapolar array MAGNET
Wound healing from static magnetic fields
• an appropriately applied static magnet device significantly
promotes ulcer healing. Static magnets have also been
shown to enhance wound healing.
Magnetic ring.
Conditions where magnet therapy
should not be used:
• If you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, insulin
pump, or any other implanted electro-medical
device
• If you are pregnant
• Over the same area that has received a
localized cortisone injection within the past 2
weeks
Conclusions
• Magnetic therapy works for relieving pain on the nerve level.
• It can have a molecular action that reduces inflammation, thereby
improving the capacity to rejuvenate.
• Magnetic therapy research shows that it is most effective provided
you have access to the right magnetic therapy devices and use
correct methodology or treatment protocols to apply them.
• Multipolar therapeutic magnets are the most effective and its
recommended to spend some time understanding and visualizing
the field of effect of the therapeutic magnet you decide to use.
• The therapeutic magnet used should have steep enough magnetic
field gradients, so that the field reaches the damaged area so as to
envelope the target tissue.

Magnetic Therapy Benefits as Alternate Treatment

  • 1. By Prof. Ajal A J Chief Mentor Emeritus IMET Solutions - Kerala < Mob – 890 730 5642 > magnetic therapy
  • 2. The body is not based simply on biochemical reactions, but also electro-magnetic interactions.
  • 3. What is the History of magnetic therapy?
  • 4. Surprising history of magnets and Mesoamerica
  • 5. Story Time Once up on a time …
  • 6.
  • 7. A common misperception: is that magnetic therapy attracts the iron in blood. This is false. The iron in hemoglobin is in a chemically- bound state. It's not magnetically-sensitive. Negative magnetic fields enhance the body's ability to quickly adapt and regulate these biological responses. This leads to greater pain relief and faster healing.
  • 8. • Treatment with magnets is effective for Sinusitis, Headache, Acute Rhinitis, Back pain, Gastritis, Cervical Spondylitis, Menopause, Arthritis. The secretion of hormones is also regulated and this improves the luster of the skin.
  • 9.
  • 10.
  • 11. ALTERNATIVE THERAPY • Alternative Therapy is a unique combination of 1. Naturopathy, 2. Panchakarma, 3. Reflexology, 4. Acupressure, 5. Magneto Therapy, 6. Sujok Therapy, 7. Thai Therapy, 8. Zone Therapy, 9. Meridianology, 10. Aromatherapy & 11. Marma Chikitsa.
  • 12. ALTERNATIVE THERAPY • It is a treatment without drug. • Alternative Medicine is a system of natural therapeutics based on vitality and self healing ability of living organisms. • For example, application of a specific pressure on particular areas of the feet helps balance the system. • It works on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet corresponding to every part of the body. • This holistic system serves to relax, improves the functioning of all body systems, promoting a general feeling of wellness and harmony.
  • 13. Magnetic Therapy • Magnetic Therapy is an alternative medical practice that uses static (i.e. unmoving) magnets to alleviate pain and other health concerns. • So-called therapeutic magnets are typically integrated into bracelets, rings, or shoe inserts, though therapeutic magnetic mattresses and clothing are also on the market. • Magnetotherapy is effective in healing pain since magnetic waves pass through the tissues and induce secondary currents which reduce pain and swellings.
  • 14.
  • 15. Magnetic Therapy • It can be considered as a treatment through application of magnets. • The human body itself is a magnet, when there is imbalance in the flow between the two poles, disease ensues. • Energy flows at certain frequency between the two poles of each cell/organ. • The earth and the human body are magnets, which is why we are told to sleep with our head facing the north.
  • 16. How to cure diabetic foot pain?
  • 17. How to cure diabetic foot pain? • uses electromagnetic frequencies which are adjusted to your body to normalize the functioning of cells.
  • 18. rTMS(Transcranial magnetic stimulation) Therapy. • ranscranial magnetic stimulation is used to treat depression and other psychological issues by stimulating the brain non-invasively using electromagnetic fields, similar to those produced by an MRI machine. • During TMS Therapy, a magnetic field is administered in very short pulses to the part of your brain that research has demonstrated to be associated with depression
  • 19. How does Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation work?
  • 20. HOW MAGNET THERAPY WORK • There are several ways to block the transmission of the pain impulse to the brain. • One is the use of an anesthetic block. • A second is the use of drugs which act on the hypothalamus of the brain to dull the pain. • The third is the use of Magnetic Therapy to impede the flow of the nerve impulse.
  • 21. Signs of Depression – Symptoms • A loss of interest in once enjoyed activities • Heavy dwelling on the past (especially on situations or occurrences that have not gone right) • Thoughts of committing suicide • Problems with managing anger and mood • Abnormal levels of anxiety • Irritability and loss of patience
  • 22. Physical signs of depression include: • Too much sleep • Insomnia and restlessness when trying to sleep • Unusual weight gains • Abnormal loss of weight • Unable to concentrate on tasks or activities • Unusual pains and aches
  • 23. 'Magnet therapy' can boost memory and offers hope for Alzheimer's patients
  • 24. • By placing a highly powerful Negative Magnetic field over the body pain nerve, the magnetically, positively charged ions will be attracted to the negative magnetic field, this impeding the flow of the positively charged ions along the nerves to the brain. • Of course, some of the positive ions will escape, thereby allowing continued sensation, increase blood circulation and also start Iron balancing in body. • However, research reveals that the longer the magnets are in place over the affected site, the more effective the negative magnetic field will become, Thus, the longer the product is used, the more effective it becomes and also it will balance body Iron for Pain Relief, smooth blood circulation to increase healing power.
  • 25. Magnetic Therapy for Thyroid • The Thyroid function responds quickly to Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy.
  • 26.
  • 27. • They increase tissue phosphorylization, which aids in fibroblast proliferation and the healing of tissue. It increases the level of alkaline phosphatase at fracture sites, which expedites healing of fractures. It affects the membranes of red blood cells, decreasing rouleaux formation and increasing oxygenation of tissue. There are a multitude of other salutary effects of magnets on a basic cellular level, which are just beginning to be appreciated. So, although magnets themselves do not heal an injury, they increase blood circulation to the affected area, thereby helping the body to heal more quickly.
  • 28.
  • 29. About Magnet • Ceramic magnets are used as bio-magnet . • ceramic magnets has low Gauss power and using ceramic magnets having low penetration on body so it’s doesn’t effect to depth penetration. • Neodymium magnets are most powerful magnets so we can use north polo neodymium magnet for 1. Depth penetration, 2. Fast pain Relief, 3. Smooth blood circulation for healing and 4. Maintain body iron balance.
  • 30. various types of magnet therapy. • Static magnetic field therapy: With this method, you touch a magnet to your skin by wearing a magnetized bracelet, bandage, shoe insole or mattress pad. • Electronically charged magnetic therapy: With this method, the magnets used are electrically charged with an electric pulse. • Magnetic therapy with acupuncture: With this method, a magnet is placed in the same section of your body that an acupuncturist would focus on during an acupuncture session in an attempt to clear your energy pathways or channels.

  • 40. Biological and Therapeutic Functions of Magnetized Water: • It can prevent damage to the endothelium • The viscosity of the water is lowered • Magnetised water greatly improves the solubility of calcium • It has been found to seemingly increase the weight of the spleen • • It has been found to seemingly increase the content of the body's immunoglobulin and enhance the phagocytosis
  • 41. • It can lower the content of blood plasma urea and free amino acid • Magnetized water has been shown to assist in the protection of the stomach mucous, promote small intestine movement, and increase the active dissolution of food
  • 42. • • The treating scope of magnetized water is such that it can prevent, alleviate or cure arteriosclerosis, hypertension (abnormally high blood pressure , especially in the arteries, or a diseased condition of which this is the chief symptom), coronary heart diseases are also able to be treated.
  • 43. • • Gargling with magnetized water may fight gum disease. • - from “Magnet Therapy with Burton Goldberg”
  • 44. There are generally three theories into the application of magnets on the body:
  • 45. Magnets Do Not Block Pain Signals, They Treat the Cause of the Pain.
  • 46. Polarity and area of effect of therapeutic magnets A Quadrapolar Q Magnet is a multipolar (i.e., Quadrapolar on one side) static magnet made of the highest quality rare earth neodymium magnetic material with a 1.35 Tesla or 13,500 Gauss rating at its strongest point and Energy Product of 45 MGOe (N45). The name Quadrapolar comes from the four alternating poles on the one face of the magnet.

  • 48.
  • 50.
  • 51. Wound healing from static magnetic fields • an appropriately applied static magnet device significantly promotes ulcer healing. Static magnets have also been shown to enhance wound healing.
  • 53.
  • 54. Conditions where magnet therapy should not be used: • If you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, insulin pump, or any other implanted electro-medical device • If you are pregnant • Over the same area that has received a localized cortisone injection within the past 2 weeks
  • 55.
  • 56.
  • 57. Conclusions • Magnetic therapy works for relieving pain on the nerve level. • It can have a molecular action that reduces inflammation, thereby improving the capacity to rejuvenate. • Magnetic therapy research shows that it is most effective provided you have access to the right magnetic therapy devices and use correct methodology or treatment protocols to apply them. • Multipolar therapeutic magnets are the most effective and its recommended to spend some time understanding and visualizing the field of effect of the therapeutic magnet you decide to use. • The therapeutic magnet used should have steep enough magnetic field gradients, so that the field reaches the damaged area so as to envelope the target tissue.
