• Magnetic therapy, also called magnetic field
therapy and bio energy therapy, is an
alternative therapy that uses magnets of varying
sizes and strengths that are placed on the body
to relieve pain and treat disease.
• Earth itself is a huge magnet and possesses a
magnetic field.
INTRODUCTION
•All bodies in this space have their own magnetic
field.
•People are constantly surrounded by magnetic
waves and influenced by them.
•Natural health can be restored or maintained with
the help of controlled magnetic field produced by
artificial magnet
•It has gained tremendous popularity and
acceptance in countries like Japan, America,
Russia & Germany. In INDIA, still more
awareness is needed.
•Based on the physics of electromagnetism,
applies these principles to the magnetic fields
present in the human body.
•Every disease is the result of an imbalance or
in - coordination between the various
electromagnetic forces present inside the body.
•The most important forces of nature include
Gravity
Nuclear force
Radiation
Electromagnetic force
Magnetism is part of the electromagnetic force.
The earth’s magnetism originates because of
The spinning of the earth about its own axis
The electricity generated by the charged
ions present in the atmosphere, especially
the ionosphere.
•Beyond the ionosphere of the earth, there is vast
area full of HARMFUL RADIATION. This area/belt
is known as VAN ALLEN BELT.
•The earth’s magnetic field effectively prevents this
harmful radiation from reaching the earth’s surface
•Earth’s magnetic field serves a protective purpose
for all living being.
•Earth’s magnetic field is measured only about 0.5
gauss, which is adequate to protect and sustain
life.
•Very important to know that earth’s magnetic North
Pole is situated at its geographic South Pole and
the magnetic South Pole is situated at its
geographic North Pole.
•Baron Von Richenbach has found that sensitive
person find discomfort and become agitated if lie
down with their head towards the South.
•On the other hand, they feel relaxed and fall
asleep when they lie down with their heads
towards the North.
•In short, when a person remains parallel to the
earth’s magnetic field, he can do any work with
least difficulty
•Every cell and organ of our body is a magnetic unit and
has a specific vibratory frequency.
•When there is a perfect harmony between the vibratory
frequencies of the various tissues and organs of the body,
we are in good health.
•If this harmony is imbalance because of changes in
natural vibratory frequency of an organ or a part of body
causes diseases.
•Magnet therapy strikes at the root of the disease. It
strives to restore the nature vibratory frequencies of
various organs and to re-establish a balance in their
electromagnetic forces.
• When the magnet is kept in contact with a part of the
body, the cells and organs of the part regain their natural
vibratory frequency.
• The electromagnetic waves from magnets are capable
of very deep and extensive penetration and reach
almost every cell of concerned part of body.
• The protoplasm of cells gets polarized. Such
polarization imparts strength to the cells
•When magnets are placed near the body, the regeneration
process in that part is stimulated.
•New, healthy ones replace old worn out cells.
•It helps to heal the wound faster.
•suppresses the activities of harmful bacteria , causes
disease.
A magnet affects the physical & chemical properties of
liquid
Centers of crystallization increases
Density, viscosity, surface tension is suitable
altered.
Electromagnetic waves blood stream eddy
current
warm up the blood and increase the no. of ions in the
blood provide good health.
Removal of metabolic waste reduce muscular
tension, fatigue and pain.
Cholesterol deposition on the inner surface of the blood
vessels are eroded and dissolved.
Thus, blood supply to organs are improved.
This warm blood stimulates the endocrine glands to
function properly.
•bring down ESR and WBC count in infectious illness,
where it goes up abnormally.
•magnetized blood rejuvenates and invigorates each and
every cell of the body, various system of body becomes
more efficient, Resistance Power increases.
1. MAGNETISED WATER
• Substances can be classified into 3 category:
I. Ferromagnetic: Strongly attracted; e.g. Ions,
Nickel, Cobalt.
II. Paramagnetic: Mildly attracted; e.g. water, oil.
III. Diamagnetic: Move away from magnet; e.g. Gold,
Silver, Zink
• Magnetic field increases the centers of crystallization in
fluids.
• When water is exposed to a strong magnetic field
physical properties of water like density, viscosity,
surface tension, electrical conductivity and chemical
properties like pH, nitrogen ion concentration undergo
changes.
This water is termed as “MAGNETIC WATER”.
Favorably affects the HEALTH when magnetic water drunk.
This water is useful in most diseases especially in digestive,
excretory and the nervous system.
• To improve digestion
• To reduce gastric acidity
• To cure constipation
• Helps in menstrual problem
• To prevent deposition of cholesterol on inner surface of
blood vessels.
•To treating kidney troubles like kidney stone as
magnetic water is diuretic in nature
•To strengthens and invigorates the natural
resistance power to the body.
•To treat viral disease, common cold, cough,
asthma
• Strong Magnets are used to magnetize water.
• It should be in plastic or glass bottle and should be kept
in contact with strong magnet for about 24 hours.
• Water influenced by both the Poles simultaneously
should be consumed. For this two magnet should be
placed on either side of a bottle such that North Pole of
one magnet faces South Pole of other magnet.
•Magnets are to be kept in contact with water bottle from
outside, they should not immersed into the water.
•It should not be heated or kept in a refrigerator.
•Water magnetized by only one Pole may be used for
certain problems
• SOUTH POLE: Hyperacidity and Gastric ulcer
• NORTH POLE: Sluggish digestion
• Validity of magnetized water is about 3 to 4 days.
• DOSE: 3-4 times/day, in doses of about 100ml.
• It can be used in;
• To wash eyes
• To clean wounds & burns
• To flush the intestine (through Enema)
2. MAGNETIZED OIL
OIL INFLUENCED WITH BOTH THE POLES:
 Take a glass bottle filled with oil
 Keep strong magnets in contacts with a bottle
such that North pole of one magnet faces
South pole of other magnet
 contact for 15-20 days.
 USES: Hair, baby massage or instilling in the
nose and ears
 NORTH POLE
• Magnetizing by north
pole
• Magnet faces the north
direction
• Use: Massage medium
in general weakness,
Paralysis, Baldness
 SOUTH POLE
• Magnetizing by South
Pole
• Magnet faces the
south direction
• Use: Joint pain, skin
problems, insomnia
(scalp massage)
There are two methods of applying magnets.
1. Unipolar method- only one pole used at a time
2. Bipolar method- both poles are used simultaneously
•Inhibitory & suppressive
•It imparts coolness and peace
•If kept in water for sometime, it makes water slightly
alkaline. It decreases the acidity of fluids.
•It provides contraction and shrinkage of body tissue
•It slows down the circulation in small blood vessels and
capillaries.
•It inhibits the activity of bacteria, controls infection &
decreases inflammation.
•It arrest growth of boils, carbuncle and tumors.
•Decreases pain and body temperature.
•Thus, SOUTH POLE is useful in infectious and
inflammatory conditions.
•It is commonly used in skin condition, arthritis,
infectious diseases, tumors, anxiety, convulsion, pain
neuralgia, insomnia and many more.
•Stimulatory and augmentative properties.
•Imparts warmth and energy
•It make water acidic if placed in water for sometime
•Produces expansion of body tissue
•Speed up the circulation
•Encourages the activity & growth of bacteria, worsen infections and
increase swelling
•Stimulates the growth of boils and tumors
•No effect on pain, sometimes it increases the pain and body
temperature
•The energy , strength and warmth giving properties of
NORTH POLE can be utilized to treat paralysis, hernia,
leucoderma, baldness, muscle weakness, general
weakness, unconsciousness and many more diseases
•As the South and North Poles have opposing properties,
correctly recognising the pole is very important before treating
any condition.
•The north and south poles can be used one after the other,
during a single treatment session.
•In injury, spinal pain, low back pain treatment with the south
pole for the 1st 10-20mins and with north pole for the next 10-
20mins may be given.
Some physicians treat each and every diseases by
keeping the magnet in contact with the pt’s palms and
soles.
It is must to consider the changes that occurs in body,
when magnets are applied;
1. North pole in Rt palm(sole) & South pole in Lt
palm(sole)
cool forces inside the body gradually increase and
dominate all the process inside the body slow down.
• North Pole in Lt palm(sole) and south pole in Rt palm(sole)
hot forces gradually increases in the body all the processes
inside the body are paced up
• Frostbite, paralysis, varicose vain, obesity, diabetes we
can go for 2nd type of method which stimulates the hot
forces in the body.
In condition like fever, excessive perspiration, Allergy, high
blood pressure, RA we can go for 1st type of method which
cool down the body.
POSITION OF PATIENT
Sitting or lying
Iron bed/chair should be avoided
Wooden bed/chair should be used
•If magnets are to be applied to the sole, they should be
kept on a wooden plank and not on the floor.
•During treatment, magnets preferably be positioned such
that the North Pole faces the North direction and South
pole faces the South direction.
•In this position, the field of the magnets is parallel to that
of the earth and gives better result.
•The shape, size and power of the magnets selected for
treatment depend upon the need.
•Delicate and sensitive, small organs, brain and heart
should not be treated with strong magnets, a small round
or rectangular magnet with a central hole can be used for
treating such organ.
•Superficial diseases don't need very strong magnet but if
the disease is deep-seated, strong magnet may have to
used.
•Strong magnet may be required for old and chronic
disease.
•In initial stage- 15mins treatment session, once a day
•For infants 5-10mins
•For chronic disease, joint disorder, paralysis and other such
serious diseases :- 30-40mins and Can be given 2 or 3 times
per day
•Duration of single treatment depends upon the kind of
condition and severity of disease of patient.
•Strong magnets are to be used on empty stomach. So
best time for treatment is early morning or early evening
•There is no serious side effect of magnetic treatment, so it
can be taken any time of the day.
Uses electrolytes to assist with the electrical
signaling mechanism that take place between
cells.
Many time body opposes these medicines on the
other hand Magnetotherapy is an external mode
of treatment which doesn't play with the various
chemicals and enzymes present inside the body
and it is also safe and harmless.
•It's result can be seen immediate.
•It is very simple.
•It can be employed for any patients of age and sex
•No preparation is essential before starting the
treatment.
•It needs very little care in form of clear sterilization.
•There is no need to go to clinic; treatment can be taken at
home, no particular time required for treatment, can be
taken any time of the day.
•Once purchased, the magnets can be used for years,
because they retain their power for long time.
•Magnetic treatment is not addictive. No harm arises up
abruptly.
•Magnets can be used to disperse fatigue and irritation.
•All together magnets can prolong life and prevent senility.
• Magnet should not be allowed to clash with each other or to
fall, otherwise steel magnet may loose their power and ceramic
magnets may break.
•Magnet should preferably be kept in a wooden case or
wooden cupboard, when not in use.
•Steel Magnets should not be allowed to get wet to prevent
them from resting. Similarly, the part of the body to which the
magnet is to be applied should be completely wiped and free of
sweat.

  • 9. •Earth’s magnetic field is measured only about 0.5 gauss, which is adequate to protect and sustain life. •Very important to know that earth’s magnetic North Pole is situated at its geographic South Pole and the magnetic South Pole is situated at its geographic North Pole.
  • 10. •Baron Von Richenbach has found that sensitive person find discomfort and become agitated if lie down with their head towards the South. •On the other hand, they feel relaxed and fall asleep when they lie down with their heads towards the North. •In short, when a person remains parallel to the earth’s magnetic field, he can do any work with least difficulty
  • 11. •Every cell and organ of our body is a magnetic unit and has a specific vibratory frequency. •When there is a perfect harmony between the vibratory frequencies of the various tissues and organs of the body, we are in good health.
  • 12. •If this harmony is imbalance because of changes in natural vibratory frequency of an organ or a part of body causes diseases. •Magnet therapy strikes at the root of the disease. It strives to restore the nature vibratory frequencies of various organs and to re-establish a balance in their electromagnetic forces.
  • 13. • When the magnet is kept in contact with a part of the body, the cells and organs of the part regain their natural vibratory frequency. • The electromagnetic waves from magnets are capable of very deep and extensive penetration and reach almost every cell of concerned part of body. • The protoplasm of cells gets polarized. Such polarization imparts strength to the cells
  • 14. •When magnets are placed near the body, the regeneration process in that part is stimulated. •New, healthy ones replace old worn out cells. •It helps to heal the wound faster. •suppresses the activities of harmful bacteria , causes disease.
  • 15. A magnet affects the physical & chemical properties of liquid Centers of crystallization increases Density, viscosity, surface tension is suitable altered. Electromagnetic waves blood stream eddy current warm up the blood and increase the no. of ions in the blood provide good health. Removal of metabolic waste reduce muscular tension, fatigue and pain.
  • 16. Cholesterol deposition on the inner surface of the blood vessels are eroded and dissolved. Thus, blood supply to organs are improved. This warm blood stimulates the endocrine glands to function properly.
  • 17. •bring down ESR and WBC count in infectious illness, where it goes up abnormally. •magnetized blood rejuvenates and invigorates each and every cell of the body, various system of body becomes more efficient, Resistance Power increases.

  • 19. 1. MAGNETISED WATER • Substances can be classified into 3 category: I. Ferromagnetic: Strongly attracted; e.g. Ions, Nickel, Cobalt. II. Paramagnetic: Mildly attracted; e.g. water, oil. III. Diamagnetic: Move away from magnet; e.g. Gold, Silver, Zink
  • 20. • Magnetic field increases the centers of crystallization in fluids. • When water is exposed to a strong magnetic field physical properties of water like density, viscosity, surface tension, electrical conductivity and chemical properties like pH, nitrogen ion concentration undergo changes. This water is termed as “MAGNETIC WATER”. Favorably affects the HEALTH when magnetic water drunk.
  • 21. This water is useful in most diseases especially in digestive, excretory and the nervous system. • To improve digestion • To reduce gastric acidity • To cure constipation • Helps in menstrual problem • To prevent deposition of cholesterol on inner surface of blood vessels.
  • 22. •To treating kidney troubles like kidney stone as magnetic water is diuretic in nature •To strengthens and invigorates the natural resistance power to the body. •To treat viral disease, common cold, cough, asthma
  • 23. • Strong Magnets are used to magnetize water. • It should be in plastic or glass bottle and should be kept in contact with strong magnet for about 24 hours. • Water influenced by both the Poles simultaneously should be consumed. For this two magnet should be placed on either side of a bottle such that North Pole of one magnet faces South Pole of other magnet.
  • 24. •Magnets are to be kept in contact with water bottle from outside, they should not immersed into the water. •It should not be heated or kept in a refrigerator. •Water magnetized by only one Pole may be used for certain problems • SOUTH POLE: Hyperacidity and Gastric ulcer • NORTH POLE: Sluggish digestion
  • 25. • Validity of magnetized water is about 3 to 4 days. • DOSE: 3-4 times/day, in doses of about 100ml. • It can be used in; • To wash eyes • To clean wounds & burns • To flush the intestine (through Enema)
  • 26. 2. MAGNETIZED OIL OIL INFLUENCED WITH BOTH THE POLES:  Take a glass bottle filled with oil  Keep strong magnets in contacts with a bottle such that North pole of one magnet faces South pole of other magnet  contact for 15-20 days.  USES: Hair, baby massage or instilling in the nose and ears
  • 27.  NORTH POLE • Magnetizing by north pole • Magnet faces the north direction • Use: Massage medium in general weakness, Paralysis, Baldness  SOUTH POLE • Magnetizing by South Pole • Magnet faces the south direction • Use: Joint pain, skin problems, insomnia (scalp massage)
  • 28. There are two methods of applying magnets. 1. Unipolar method- only one pole used at a time 2. Bipolar method- both poles are used simultaneously
  • 29. •Inhibitory & suppressive •It imparts coolness and peace •If kept in water for sometime, it makes water slightly alkaline. It decreases the acidity of fluids. •It provides contraction and shrinkage of body tissue •It slows down the circulation in small blood vessels and capillaries. •It inhibits the activity of bacteria, controls infection & decreases inflammation.
  • 30. •It arrest growth of boils, carbuncle and tumors. •Decreases pain and body temperature. •Thus, SOUTH POLE is useful in infectious and inflammatory conditions. •It is commonly used in skin condition, arthritis, infectious diseases, tumors, anxiety, convulsion, pain neuralgia, insomnia and many more.
  • 31. •Stimulatory and augmentative properties. •Imparts warmth and energy •It make water acidic if placed in water for sometime •Produces expansion of body tissue •Speed up the circulation •Encourages the activity & growth of bacteria, worsen infections and increase swelling
  • 32. •Stimulates the growth of boils and tumors •No effect on pain, sometimes it increases the pain and body temperature •The energy , strength and warmth giving properties of NORTH POLE can be utilized to treat paralysis, hernia, leucoderma, baldness, muscle weakness, general weakness, unconsciousness and many more diseases
  • 33. •As the South and North Poles have opposing properties, correctly recognising the pole is very important before treating any condition. •The north and south poles can be used one after the other, during a single treatment session. •In injury, spinal pain, low back pain treatment with the south pole for the 1st 10-20mins and with north pole for the next 10- 20mins may be given.
  • 34. Some physicians treat each and every diseases by keeping the magnet in contact with the pt’s palms and soles. It is must to consider the changes that occurs in body, when magnets are applied; 1. North pole in Rt palm(sole) & South pole in Lt palm(sole) cool forces inside the body gradually increase and dominate all the process inside the body slow down.
  • 35. • North Pole in Lt palm(sole) and south pole in Rt palm(sole) hot forces gradually increases in the body all the processes inside the body are paced up • Frostbite, paralysis, varicose vain, obesity, diabetes we can go for 2nd type of method which stimulates the hot forces in the body.
  • 36. In condition like fever, excessive perspiration, Allergy, high blood pressure, RA we can go for 1st type of method which cool down the body. POSITION OF PATIENT Sitting or lying Iron bed/chair should be avoided Wooden bed/chair should be used
  • 37. •If magnets are to be applied to the sole, they should be kept on a wooden plank and not on the floor. •During treatment, magnets preferably be positioned such that the North Pole faces the North direction and South pole faces the South direction. •In this position, the field of the magnets is parallel to that of the earth and gives better result.
  • 38. •The shape, size and power of the magnets selected for treatment depend upon the need. •Delicate and sensitive, small organs, brain and heart should not be treated with strong magnets, a small round or rectangular magnet with a central hole can be used for treating such organ. •Superficial diseases don't need very strong magnet but if the disease is deep-seated, strong magnet may have to used. •Strong magnet may be required for old and chronic disease.
  • 39. •In initial stage- 15mins treatment session, once a day •For infants 5-10mins •For chronic disease, joint disorder, paralysis and other such serious diseases :- 30-40mins and Can be given 2 or 3 times per day •Duration of single treatment depends upon the kind of condition and severity of disease of patient.
  • 40. •Strong magnets are to be used on empty stomach. So best time for treatment is early morning or early evening •There is no serious side effect of magnetic treatment, so it can be taken any time of the day.
  • 41. Uses electrolytes to assist with the electrical signaling mechanism that take place between cells. Many time body opposes these medicines on the other hand Magnetotherapy is an external mode of treatment which doesn't play with the various chemicals and enzymes present inside the body and it is also safe and harmless.
  • 42. •It's result can be seen immediate. •It is very simple. •It can be employed for any patients of age and sex •No preparation is essential before starting the treatment. •It needs very little care in form of clear sterilization.
  • 43. •There is no need to go to clinic; treatment can be taken at home, no particular time required for treatment, can be taken any time of the day. •Once purchased, the magnets can be used for years, because they retain their power for long time. •Magnetic treatment is not addictive. No harm arises up abruptly. •Magnets can be used to disperse fatigue and irritation. •All together magnets can prolong life and prevent senility.
  • 44. • Magnet should not be allowed to clash with each other or to fall, otherwise steel magnet may loose their power and ceramic magnets may break. •Magnet should preferably be kept in a wooden case or wooden cupboard, when not in use. •Steel Magnets should not be allowed to get wet to prevent them from resting. Similarly, the part of the body to which the magnet is to be applied should be completely wiped and free of sweat.
