  want to get across, typically the album name
              and the artists website.


 • A catchy picture: ideally the picture on the
album cover or at least one which would have
 been from the same shoot, this way people
   can identify it when they see the album.


  • Colour scheme: something that stands out
  but is limited to two colours, and represents
the artist/bands persona and connects them to
            their album cover-digi-pak.
• Distinctive font: one where people can
      associate it with the digi-pak and also
differentiates it from magazine advertisements
            from other artists/bands.


• Picture of artist/band: so the advertisement
can appeal to both sexes, in this case, the way
 the woman is positioned would appeal to a
male whereas her music may only appeal to a
                     female.


  • Important information: to make people
 aware what date the album is released, so in
    effect they can ‘add this to their diary.’
• Representation: the personality of the
      artist/band is shown through the
 images, colours and font used. In pop this is
usually bright colours and unusual characters.

the destined target audience, mostly teenagers
 and young adults in the pop genre, ‘June 25’
 we automatically know that this is the release
       date without the advert telling us.

    print, in this case, the date of their live
performance. Gains increased interest, people

                    their album.

that is heavily featured and associated with the
 album. Rihanna’s red hair was a main feature
               and became a trend.

 will persuade people to go as they don’t have
         to do extra research into how.

 people want more. We are unaware when in

 purchase in order to expand range of music.
