Personal Branding is how you share and market yourself to others.
A brand is created when people connect images, emotions, stories, experiences and expectations with a person or company. Therefore, your name and what people associate with it, determine what your brand is.
Your personal brand is comprised of three C’s:
Connections – anyone with whom you have a relationship or a connection. Your connections include your friends, family, colleagues, clients, customers and fans.
Content – the information, language, images, and design associated with your brand that exists through word-of-mouth stories, printed and digital materials, public profiles, websites, traditional and social media (articles, blogs, video, audio, etc.).
Commerce – the money that you earn from goods or services sold under your brand name.
Connections build reputation. Content builds trust. Commerce builds a business. Put all three together and they create your brand.

Research Trends 2013: Evolving Networks of ExpertiseWilliam Gunn
William Gunn discusses how online communities have evolved from early internet forums and networks to modern social networks. He explains that early networks like Usenet and mailing lists allowed sharing of information before the web. Modern social networks like Twitter, Facebook, and Mendeley grew as platforms that made sharing content like photos, links, and research easy. This led to online communities forming around shared interests in the content people discovered through these networks. Gunn argues that communities thrive when networks remain open to the web and allow aggregation of user data in the cloud.

On Storytelling & Magic Realism in Rushdie’s Midnight’s Children, Shame, and ...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: Salman Rushdie’s novels are humorous books about serious times. His cosmopolitanism and
hybrid identity allowed him access to multiple cultures, religions, languages, dialects, and various modes of
writing. His style is often classified as magic realism, blending the imaginary with the real. He draws
inspiration from both English literature and Indian classical sources. Throughout his works, there is a lineage of
‘bastards of history’, a carnival of shameful characters scrolling all along his works. Rushdie intertwines fiction

mythology to explore history. This paper focuses on Rushdie’s three novels: Midnight’s Children, Shame, and
Haroun and the Sea of Stories, analyzing his postmodern storytelling techniques that aim to explore human

Editor's Notes
Binnen Connections kennen we drie soorten Communities:- Publiek: Hier is iedereen welkom!
People are our greatest resource!
Integratie is key. Bestaande system worden niet vervangen.Lage drempel, easy to use.
