The game pitch proposes a survival horror game based on Little Red Riding Hood with the following key elements:
1) The player controls Red Riding Hood who must rescue her kidnapped grandmother from a pack of wolves in a dark, forest setting.
2) Gameplay will be challenging and non-linear, requiring exploration, item collection, decision-making, and combat against animals for survival.
3) In addition to Red, her grandmother, and the lumberjack, there will be additional characters and an alpha wolf boss, departing from the original story.

The purpose of this document is to provide for developers of Mad Otter Games reliable and accurate feedback on the experiences, strengths and weaknesses of the game, in order to make it enhanced.
1. Little Red Riding Hood Game Pitch
Core Mechanics:
The game will be Survival Horror genre. We chose this because we want to make this
game more appealing to our target audience. Most gamers seem to like games with a lot
of gore and killing. We will make the game quite challenging, we don't want it to be
completed in a few minutes. The player will need to explore the world in order to be
successful, as this will help them obtain better items/weapons etc. It will mainly be non-
linear gameplay, as instead of there only being the main objective, the player will find other
non-player characters in the game which will ask them for help. The player will also be
faced with a lot of multiple choices which can change the story of the game later on.
Narrative:
This game will start off by following the classic Red Riding Hood story, as Red will be
going to deliver a basket of goods to her Grandmother in the forest. The story then
deviates from the original one as her grandmother has not been eaten/killed, but the
wolves have taken her away and Red then needs to try and find her in order to rescue her.
The characters from the classic story will also be included such as Red, her Grandmother
and the Lumberjack, but the characters are a bit different. Red Riding Hood will be a
teenager instead of a young girl, to make it more realistic when she needs to defend
herself against a pack of wolves. Also, instead of there just being one “Big bad wolf”, there
will be a large pack of wolves, and then an alpha wolf, that is bigger/stronger than the
others. This helps bring in a “boss” figure to the game.
Interactivity:
There are other characters in the game, non-player character (computers) that you can
talk to and ask them to help you or help them to do some quests. The game will stop when
you stop playing it, it wont effect your day to day life. A lot of the time you will be faced with
some multiple choice questions that you have to chose the answer, each choice will lead a
deferent story line. You can restart the game when you have finished and pick different
choices that will lead to a different ending to the game. The world that the game is set (the
forest) is very large, and free to explore. In this forest there will be other wild animals such
as deer, that the player will need to kill and eat in order to regain health/strength. This will
be the same for small plants/berries etc, and the player will need to learn to use the
surroundings to their advantage, for example finding a large stick and some oil to make a
torch.
Graphics/Sound:
It will have high quality graphics. We will add sound effects, E.g the rain in the background,
wolfs howling, rustling in the bushes. When you talk to a character in the game, they will
speak and there will also be subtitles at the bottom of the game. There will be some
background music played quietly throughout the game. The graphics will be dark and
gloomy the majority of the time, but in the grandmothers house tehre will be candle/lantern
lit. The game is set in olden days, when it was all swords and crossbows.
