A Small plot
An ex-marine that is in a wheelchair finds a new life on a different planet which ends up in
finding himself fighting for humankind with the planet's people which I a completely
different race in the 3D sci-fi film made by award-winning director James Cameron who also
made Titanic. The film follows Jake Sully acted by Sam Worthington who is a was previously
in the war and gets called to space where he is needed to help the job his brother is doing to
try and mine the planet of Pandora. But there is a tribe that lies underneath the home of the
Na'vi, a ten-foot-tall, blue-skinned tribe who have been at war with a human army of people.
Because of the planet's atmosphere, humans have grown to be half-alien/half-human bodies
which they can change and go into this new world and explore it. As one of them already
had an Avatar grown for him, he is able to connect with it using the same DNA code and
understand their world and what they do.

• This film is a stereotype horror story with ghosts and
blood being the main theme. The scares are all in the
build-up with tension being created and the fact that
what you are imagining is going to be far worse than it
actually is. It is a very clever film as it produces and
creates good tension and scenes with a very cheap
budget.
• This is still a very well known horror film that has been
watched by millions of people.
