The Royal Albert Hall in London held its grand opening on March 29, 1871, conducted by Queen Victoria and the Prince of Wales. Each year, the hall hosts over 350 performances for a variety of events, including classical concerts, opera, ballet, awards ceremonies, and community events. The oval-shaped Grade I listed building measures 83m by 72m around the outside and can accommodate up to 5,544 people under its great glass and wrought-iron dome roof.
