The student learned how to write a song based on another song in order to take their first steps towards writing an original song. They found the learning activity to be quite successful as they were able to produce a good piece of music. For their next steps, the student plans to write another song without guidelines using the skills they learned. The online lyrics website helped the student learn by making it easier to access song lyrics.
