The General Term Of Journalism
In our contemporary society, we consume massive amount of public affairs every day, all around the world,
without being a personal witness of them. We are able to receive this important information through the news
media, which includes print based media such as newspapers, magazines, books, and audio visual such as
films, television, and lastly, Internet. Their main purpose is to deliver news to the general public. A legitimate
news story aims to do all of the following inform, educate, and entertain its audience. Thus, it should be
mainly concerned with high level of conflict and be relevant to its readers. Only very recently though, the
news became increasingly focused solely on infotainment, losing the usefulness of a newspaper. Many ...

Technology has become a very common device to own and utilize nowadays, whether it is a public/private
computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. It became very affordable and approachable as well, and has had the
most influence on the 21st Century, or better described as the Digital Age. The use of media technologies has
influenced in different fields in life from communication to education. It became a key tool in learning and it
has also had a great impact on contemporary journalism, and how our society access to news organizations.
Our modern society no longer receive news through broadsheet newspapers; nowadays, they can access news

King Tut Dbq
On November 4, 1922 Howard Carter discovered King Tutankhamun s tomb in Egypt. Howard Carter spent
almost his whole life looking for King Tut s tomb and when he found it he was over the moon. King Tut s
tomb was very important, it helped us learn more about earlier civilizations, and showed us what king tut s
reign was like while he was king.
When howard carter discovered king tut s tomb it was a very important discovery because it allowed
archeologists to learn more about people who lived during king tut s time. In Brad Yurgens article King Tut is
Best he wrote that From an archaeological standpoint, I think that the discovery of King Tutankhamen s tomb
is the most important and valuable discovery I think that this is because of the knowledge gained from all of
the artifacts recovered from the site, (Source 1). This quote shows that Howard Carter s discovery was very

Egyptians would bury their dead with treasures like gold and other things that they believed that they could
use in the afterlife. Egyptians also mummified the people so that they could preserve their bodies. Nowadays
people just have a funeral or cremate the person who died, because they know that they can t take their things
with them once they die. Egyptians put everything that they thought would be useful for that person in their
afterlife into their burial chamber with them. King Tut s tomb helped us to see what his reign was like. King
tut tried to have children with his wife Ankhesenamun but they all died right after they were born so
eventually him and his wife gave up on the idea to have have children. Since they couldn t have kids they had
heirs, who would eventually inherit their money like a child would if their parents died. King Tut s tomb has
been very helpful because it allowed us to learn a lot about early

Film Noir In Alfred Hitchcock s Film Vertigo
Here I was born, and there I died. It was only a moment for you; you took no notice, says Madeleine, played
by Kim Novak, as she foreshadows the mysterious events which take place in Vertigo. Directed by Alfred
Hitchcock, Vertigo qualifies as a film noir because it contains a femme fatale, a pessimistic romance, and is
filmed by an immigrant director. Many film noirs contain a femme fatale, and Vertigo is no different.
Madeleine and Judy, both played by Kim Novak, are definitely femme fatales. A femme fatale is a mysterious,
two faced, deceitful, manipulative, and overall beautiful woman. Both characters portray that definition
perfectly. For example, they are literally two faced, being that Madeleine and Judy are played by the same
actress. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Alfred Hitchcock, the great master of suspense, came from England. He travelled to the United States with his
family to create better and greater films that could be even more successful than they were in England.
Hitchcock loved a suspenseful and dark film, which caused him to create some of the greatest films of all time
such as Psycho, The Birds, and North By Northwest. His film Vertigo displays all of these aspects, causing the
film to be a perfect example of the Hitchcockian style. This style came from when Hitchcock was a child in
England, where his parents would punish him harshly whenever he was behaving badly. Not only that, but at
his British Catholic school, he would be harshly punished, but he set the time for when he felt he should get
his punishment that week. The way he was raised in another country was completely unique and new to
American film, causing his film noir Vertigo to contain many of the features he is known for today. Being an
immigrant, Alfred Hitchcock brought new unique factors to the American film noir. Overall, just by coming
from another country and adding his foreign touch, Hitchcock s film, Vertigo qualifies as a film

Cure Pharmaceutical Companies
Pharmaceutical Companies Against A Cure
Through the years rumors have swarmed over the accusations that there is actually a cure for the different
types of cancer. However, based on research there seems to be a notable profitable gain within certain
pharmaceutical companies, some assume that these companies value money more than offering a permanent
cure. Thus making it hard to believe that pharmaceutical companies are in favor of offering medicines that
cure certain types of cancer but instead prolong it. This makes pharmaceutical companies feel as if they are
operating under a more Jekyll and Hyde type of business standard.
Cancer is a wide, and fast spreading illness. Nearly half of American s will develop cancer sometime during ...

overrides a person s quality of life or life in itself. Proven in 2013, pharmaceutical companies actually got the
US Supreme Court to allow them to pay these generic drug companies in order to delay the release of certain
generic medications for some time, after the patent for medication expires. This allows pharmaceutical
companies more time to profit off of their name brand medications (Belk). In fact, pharmaceutical companies
paid the FDA around $712 million dollars in 2013 for prescription drugs user fees which in return helped the

The Army And Marine Corps
Sun Tzu s military acumen resonates in the current discussion of the Marine Corps preparedness to conduct
forcible entry. The Army and Marine Corps saw significant successes utilizing forcible entry and amphibious
operations in the Pacific during WWII and the Korean War. The landing at Inchon was arguably the Corps
greatest amphibious success (Cancian, Preserving Amphibious Capabilities in a Time of Austerity, 2012). Led
by General MacArthur, Inchon remains the legacy by which future amphibious operations are compared
against. However, it is important to recognize that in the past 60+ years since Inchon, the modern
militarization of both state and non state adversaries has transformed the battlespace to utilize warfare across
multiple domains. This transformation requires a forthright Sun Tzu like comparison of Marine Corps
capabilities, and the perspicacity to recognize that our current posture along with a traditional approach to
amphibious warfare is no longer effective at countering our enemies. Given the challenges that exist across the
domains of military operations, this paper will demonstrate how based on the current concepts and amphibious
capabilities, the U.S. Marine Corps is less prepared to conduct forcible entry operations than we were during
the landing at Inchon, and subsequent liberation of Seoul. The transformation in military thought towards
employment of forces across multi domain operations battlespace is based on the current threats

The cartoonist uses this to highlight how oblivious people are to this problem. The news sources are placed

questioning why media concentration is considered as bad in society. Media concentration is the process of

problem. In the cartoon, members of the audience comment on how the problem is bigger than they thought
and how a solution will not be found easily. The cartoon was created eleven years ago. The digital divide is the
advantage people in certain countries receive since they have access to digital technological and digital
communication. This puts others in different countries at a disadvantage when they do not have access to this
technology. North America has access to an abundance of technology that other countries do not have. Poorer
nations do not have access to these tools. The cartoonist has created irony in the fact that the government does
not understand how to solve this issue. The government does not understand the digital age because of the fact
that they are tying to fix the problem literally. The digital divide is an information gap not a literal problem.
This message implies that our government is incapable of find a solution in the digital age. The Digital Divide
takes place in many countries around the world and also within countries. Recently, the United States of

Temperature Of A Frog Lab Report
Effects of Temperature on a Frog
INTRODUCTION:
Amphibians are cold blooded animals that adapt to the surrounding temperatures. Frogs are one kind of
amphibian. Frogs are cold blooded. Cold blooded animals are more active in warmer temperatures and
stagnant when it is cold. A frog s system is always moving, but depending on the temperature it is exposed to,
its breaths aren t always clearly visible or at a constant rate. A frog s skin is able to take in oxygen in exchange
for carbon dioxide, so all of a frog s breathing isn t done through its lungs. Water is a compound made up of
two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Molecules in warmer water move around at a faster speed than
molecules in colder water. The problem to be solved is what the effect of different water temperatures have on
a frog s breathing rate.
HYPOTHESIS:
If a frog is put in 30℃ water, then the frog will have a higher breathing rate than the control frog.
MATERIALS:
400 mL Beaker (2) Frog Pencil Watch/Clock

The data from the chart and graph show a drop in the number of breaths when the temperature drops. The frog
had an average breathing rate of 104 breaths per minute when it was put in the highest temperature tested
(30℃). Once the frog was placed in 10℃, it had an average breathing rate of zero breaths per minute. The
frog took more breaths in the warm water. Since the frog is cold blooded, its body temperature changes
depending on the environment. Because molecules move quickly in warmer water, the frog s respiratory
system circulates faster. Molecules moving slower in colder water do not allow the frog to take in as much
oxygen as often. Therefore, a warmer temperature makes a frog s breathing rate per minute increase while a
colder temperature makes it

Reconstruction Pros And Cons
Reconstruction could be considered one of the largest projects ever undertaken. The mess that was the south,
left in the ruins of a bloody war, called for drastic measures. The inquisition that begs to be asked is whether or
not this venture was a success. Unfortunately the answer isn t as simple as yes or no . Although many promises
were broken, the much debated goals of Reconstruction are still present in the minds of today s leaders as we
continue to rebuild our country. Readmission to the union was a dividing factor between Republicans in
politics. Lincoln advocated for the Ten Percent Plan . This demanded that only ten percent of voters in a state

Many participated in a practice penned sharecropping . A plantation owner would offer freedmen a portion of
their land in exchange for a percentage of the crops cultivated on the land. Unfortunately many men took out
food and other necessities on credit and found themselves sucked into debt. They were then trapped on the
plantation as if they were slaves again. Henry Black, a former slave, trying to express his frustration, said
anything that kept you a slave because he was always right and you were always wrong . Sharecropping wasn
t the only way that Southerners inhibited the freedom of former slaves. Under Johnson s control states were
able to enact Black Codes. These codes were created state by state and often prohibited freedmen to be
unemployed, testify against a white man in court, participate in an interracial marriage or carry fire arms. The
parish of St. Landry in Louisiana prohibited any blacks within their parish without written permission. Both
Freedmen and white Northerners were infuriated by these policies and Congress, in reaction passed the Civil
Rights Act. The Civil Rights Act was one of many laws and amendments passed during the reconstruction era.
It provided citizenship for all men without distinction of race of color, or previous condition of slavery or
involuntary servitude . Jackson originally vetoed this act but the veto was overridden by Congress. Only

Essay On Tax Incentives
The purpose of this paper is to recommend having tax incentives for employers who offer wellness programs
to Governor Jaia which improves the health status of residents in the state while positively impacting the state
s economy. A tax incentive is defined as a reduction in taxes that encourages companies or people to do
something that will help the country s economy (cambridge.dictionary.org). The tax incentive for this health

The analyst must show Governor Jaia that employers who supply these health initiatives to employees seek to
reap benefits from these programs including lower health related costs, increased productivity, and higher
employee morale, which increase their bottom line (Berry, Mirabito, Baun, 2014). Is the problem that exercise
options and health foods are not available and affordable, or are individuals simply making the choice not to
engage in healthy behavior because they prefer to spend their time and money on other goods and activities?
The focal point of the analyst in answering this question should be to demonstrate how individuals that do not
have access to or who are unable to afford exercise or wellness options are less prone to be involved in healthy
behavior thus leading to lower productivity and absenteeism due to health related issues. The analyst should
point out that when employers take an active role in making healthy choices readily available to employees all
parties stand to profit. Employees who choose to take an active role by participating in such programs benefit
from healthy lifestyle changes which in turn increases productivity and reduces health spending for employers.
Lastly, the analyst should attempt to present Governor Jaia with evidence based results showing how
companies that engage in wellness programs for employees

Nietzsches Superman Essay
Though when most people think of superheroes they think of the type with super powers, the original idea of
the superman was developed by Friedrich Nietzsche in the 1800s. The ubermensch (literally overman in
German) never had extra ordinary powers and wasn t developed as the protector of man. Instead, the superman
is a person who has overcome all the flaws of mankind and is essentially perfect. This idea, though it was
thought of as an ideal goal that all people should strive for, has almost completely been used for less than good
agendas. The details of what Nietzsche s superman is supposed to be and how that compares with how it was
used to the advantage of many dictatorships and other oppressive ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He felt the idea of the superman as well as other Nietzsche writings gave him and the Nazis the right and the
reason to take over what they wished and impose the beliefs they wished. In fact, Hitler believed himself to be
a superman. This belief is evident by the way Hitler acted during his reign as the leader of the Nazi party. The
attempted destruction of the Jewish people as a race was actually based on writings by Nietzsche. In Hitler s
mind the Jews were inferior and therefore no compassion should be given to them. Hitler, of course, took this
once step further and actually killed many of the weak. During World War II Hitler even issued every German
soldier a copy of one of Nietzsche s writings, Thus Spake Zarathustra. National Socialism and Fascism also
spawned from Nietzsche and his thoughts on society. Nietzsche himself was very much socialist in his beliefs
which is evident in much of what he wrote. Though socialism may seem far from Nietzsche s idea of the
superman, it is actually very close because the ruler is looked at as a superman who makes all decisions and
knows what is best at all times. This can be seen in many societies such as Italy and Germany in World War II,
and to some extent The Soviet Union. In each of these cases the ruling party or man used Nietzsche s beliefs to
rationalize their rampant wars, hatred, and genocide.

Depression; for not solely a temporary change in mood or a sign of weakness. However, it is a real medical

as: Nausea, muscle weakness, insomnia, a change in appetite, dry mouth, and irritation. Moreover, studies

Taking a Look at the Aswan Dam
Assignment #2
The Aswan dam was constructed as a direct response to the rapid population growth within Egypt during that
time. With a population of 26 million by the time construction began on the dam, the government of Egypt
was worried about food and energy demands. The dams original thought was to provide power and expand
available water supplies outside of the flooding season to allow for higher agricultural yields. The construction
of the dam also thought to carry some secondary effect with it, such as additional fishing grounds and channels
for navigation. It was believed that the additional energy production would also drive down the price of
electricity, making it more affordable. A major aspect of the dam project was the reservoir to hold the
floodwaters and control the release rate. However, the creation of the reservoir flooded a large upper land area
requiring the relocation of over 50,000 Nubian residents. The relocating of residents because of dam
construction is fairly common, as over ten million residents of China of had to relocate as a result of dams, 1.5
million for the three gorges dam alone. The relocation of the Nubians did have a positive effect over time as
their infectious disease rate dropped. Although the relocation did leave them unhappy as they were moved
further into the desert. The reservoir also negatively impacted archaeological sites in the area, as they were
flooded over. The reservoir it self was predicted by some scientists that

The Effect Of Osmosis On Potato Cells

These are to be written individually even if you worked in a group. This should be written in paragraph

Lab Topic: Effects of Osmosis with Potato Cells in Sucrose Solution
Introduction:
Small slices of potato are placed in six concentrations of sucrose: 0.0 M, 0.1 M, 0.2 M, 0.3 M, 0.4 M, and 0.5
M. The initial mass of potato is noted before being placed in the solution. The potato remained in the solution

Once the hour was over, the potato slices were removed from the solution, dried off in a paper towel, and
weighed once again. In the 0.0, 0.1, and 0.2 M of sucrose concentrations the final mass of the potato increased.
Therefore H2O enters the potato cell because the solution is hypotonic. In the 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5 M of sucrose
concentration the final mass of potato decreases. The solution is hypertonic which causes H2O to exit the
potato cells through the semipermeable phospholipid bilayer. The results prove that the different molarities of
concentration affect the mass of the potato in different ways; the mass of potato either increased or decreased
depending on the molarity of sucrose concentration.
Caption: The line of best fit shows the pattern that as molarity increases in the sucrose concentration then the
percent change in mass of potato decreases.
Discussion:
Determining the Osmotic Concentration of Potato Tuber Cells When Placed in Sucrose Solutions
In this experiment, the osmotic concentration is found with potato slices placed in sucrose solutions. Osmosis
in this model is the net movement of water between the potato cell and the sucrose solution. The movement of
water is determined by the molarity of sucrose. As the molarity of sucrose increased then the concentration in
the solution also increased. H2O will move through the cell membrane to areas of higher concentration in
order to reach equilibrium. If cells are placed

weapons and his skills from being a warrior. Grendel s mom was the first fight of revenge within the poem,
and it served as a warning to mankind, that everyone must not fight based purely on revenge, and it will not
end in favor of the city. It therefore, proves that that holding on to someone or something for long periods of
time, could eventually destroy oneself mentally or physically. It is interesting to that the revenge of Grendel s
mother almost was a example to take not, that revenge doesn t solve our problems, this seems to be mentioned
again at the end of the poem by Wiglaf.
Another example of revenge seen in the poem Beowulf is the Germanic tribe. With this example, it is unique
in the sense that the Germanic tribe was used in hopes of peace in Garland. Hrothgar was hoping to make
peace by having his daughter marry into the Hathobards. Although upon, Beowulf return, he saw that this plan
had its flaws and was unsure of the success of the plan.

The Discovery Of The Pharmacological Class
However, the discovery of the pharmacological class, Statins of which Lipitor and Compound X belongs,
which inhibits HMG CoA reductase, an enzyme which catalyzes the conversion of HMG CoA to mevalonic
acid, an early and rate limiting step in the biosynthesis of cholesterol, has greatly improved the management of
patients of patients with hyperlipidemia (Bertolini et.al.1997).
Lipitor a Statin drug, acts by inhibiting HMG CoA reductase and are used as adjunct therapy to diet to reduce
the risk of MI, stroke, revascularization procedures, angina , non fatal MI, fatal and non fatal stroke,
hospitalization for CHF, reduce elevated total C, apo B, and TG levels, increase HDL C in adult patients with
primary hyperlipidemia and mixed dyslipidemia, reduce total C and LDL C in patients with homozygous
familial hypercholesterolemia and reduce elevated total C and apo B levels in boys and postmenarchal girls 10
17 years of age with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia after failing an adequate trial of diet therapy.
(Lipitor. 2012)
Lipitor is available in dose strengths ranging from 10mg to 80 mg with the recommended start dose being 10
to 20 mg once daily. Patients who require large LDL C reductions are recommended to start at 40 mg once
daily. Pediatric starting dose should be 10 mg daily with a maximum recommended dose of 20 mg daily.

Disadvantages Of Razor Blades
Introduction
Razor blades are a common topic in the world of consumers. They are available in many different variations
and from many different brands. Differences in price are huge, often resulting in frustrations from consumers.
In this thesis, I will try to explain differences between the brands by taking a closer look at the technical
aspects of the available razor blades.
Diamond like carbon is a class of amorphous carbon material which displays some typical properties of
diamond. This material is often applied as coating to other materials so that it can benefit from some of the
material properties of the DLC (diamond like carbon). It is known that one of the properties of a DLC is a high
hardness, which, on the other hand, makes it difficult to bond the material to most metals. Some processes are
known to tackle this problem, which we will discuss later. [1]
Around the year 2000 more became known about the attractive properties of diamond like carbons and
Gillette, the market leader of razor blades, saw its potential. Gillette patented the use of particular DLC s
applied to the cutting edges of the razors. By that it improved the hardness, shave ability and corrosion ...

Often people do not understand why the shaving experience could be so different. This is possibly caused by
the DLC s, which may not be used by store brands because of patents. Gillette has been very smart creating a
fence around itself by having so many patents regarding the cutting edges of razors. It can really distinguish
from the cheaper brands with this technology. Apparently consumers really seem to like the razor blades with
DLC film applied to it, while Gillette is the global market leader with 70 percent in the grooming business. [5]
The DLC results in longer useful life and reducing the pull of the hairs due to the sharp

How Music Defines You Essay
I think music in itself is healing. It s an explosive expression of humanity. It s something we are all touched
by. No matter what culture we re from, everyone loves music. This famous quote said by Billy Joel does a
good job describing the way music can affect people. Different songs can impact people, change their moods,
or bring back memories related to a certain tune. Each person, however, has their own unique taste in music;
one song can be loved by one but hated by another, it all depends on our personal taste and what we can relate
to. This made me wonder, what does the music I listen to say about myself? Do the lyrics define who I am as a
person, or do I simply like songs because of the beat? As I looked at my top ten playlist, ... Show more content

The second song I analyzed was Paradise by Coldplay. Similarly to Kids , the song Paradise starts with the
idea of childhood. When she was just a girl she expected the world. But it flew away from her reach so she ran
away in her sleep and dreamed of paradise is the opening verse for this tune. It talks of a young girl with big
dreams expecting the world. As the girl in the song grows up she finds that life is not as simple as she
believed. Life goes on, it gets so heavy. The wheel breaks the butterfly. Every tear a waterfall. In the night the
stormy night she ll close her eyes. Those lyrics are a good example of how life has some downs, tears, and
storms, but it talks of how the girl stays positive when the song says, She d say, I know the sun must set to
rise. I think this song is a good reflection of me. I have big dreams for myself, but as life goes on I go through
some bumps in the road. I have encountered many of my own stormy nights, but I know the sun will rise to a
clearer and brighter day in time. I have learned not to expect things to be handed to me, but to chase after my
dreams, and my own perfect paradise to a path of success. My final and favorite song I looked at was the song
Pursuit of Happiness by Kid Cudi. Kid Cudi is my favorite artist, so it makes sense that my favorite song is
one of his most popular. However, when I tell people my favorite artist is Kid Cudi, they give me weird looks
because most of his songs do not

Is Freedom Still Relevant Today
As our Founding Fathers stated in the First Amendment in the Constitution of the United States, Congress
shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or
abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to
petition the government for a redress of grievances, (qtd. in Marcovitz 22). Were they alive today, our
Founding Fathers would be greatly appreciative of the changes made to the Constitution as the prospective and
needs of our nation evolved over the last several decades. Freedom is the idea of being able to act, speak, or
think without rule or restriction; which is not the reality of many countries today and also for women and
slaves many years ago in the United States.

Women had trouble being granted the same rights as men till they demanded change. There were many
feminist groups that arose during these desperate times, which helped the issue to be recognized. The National
American Women Suffrage Association (NAWSA) was formed by two women s suffrage groups, American
Woman Suffrage Association and National Woman Suffrage Association which protested with mass marches
and hunger strikes (Suffrage, pars. 2 3). The NAWSA influenced other groups to come forward, like the
National Council of Negro Women (Rights, par. 5). In 1869, African American men were granted the ballot,
but African American women continue with the struggle to voice their opinions (Suffrage, par 2). Women
today still struggle in work environments, with sexism and being paid less than men. Women are paid twenty
two percent less than men, which according to the Institute for Women s Policy Research will take another

Disadvantages to maintaining a manual timesheet system
With a manual procedure, human asset administration implies keeping monstrous measures of paper based job

themselves the hero before their eyes. From a young boy, Bo Jackson showed his potential for great deeds. His
acts were seen as ungodly by many. By the time he was in eighth grade, Bo had dunked a stick, jumped over
cars, and jumped over a 40 foot ledge. The fact that he did these things in the first place were so unbelievable,
but it was that he did them with so much ease that had everyone stunned. The magnitude of his actions was so
powerful that not all, even believed it to be true. His natural abilities were what made Bo Jackson, Bo Jackson.
He was not only an epic hero, but a good epic hero. When Bo was a little boy, he struggled with stuttering
which led him to struggle interacting. He became an introverted person that caused his anger. However, to go

Success In Norman Rockwell s Painting The Catch
What does one need to be happy? Is it a nice car? Maybe it s a new pair of shoes? What about success? What
defines success and what does one need to be successful? The truth is, it depends on one s definition. Success
can be defined in different ways. Success could be defined as being financially stable, or it could be something
as simple as feeling accomplished with achieved goals. Norman Rockwell s painting The Catch offers
refreshing ideas on what it means to be happy and what one needs to be successful.
At first glance, Rockwell s painting illustrates a successful day of fishing for three young friends, all of whom
have their catch for the day strung in one hand and their fishing gear in the other. Out of the three boys in the

Rockwell s painting suggests the idea that money is not a determining factor in happiness.
Upon further examination of Rockwell s portrait, the viewer starts to notice the smaller details and tons of
interesting objects that are only noticed after examining the painting multiple times (Venezia, 31). One starts
to notice the smaller details, such as quality of the boys clothes and what they are carrying. The happier boys
lack pairs of shoes and have an abundance of holes in their clothing. The somber looking boy has a clean
white shirt tucked into pants, a bow around his collar, and expensive looking fishing gear. After noting the
appearance of all three boys, the viewer s eyes are drawn to the fish that the upscale boy is carrying. His one
and only fish is small not even half the size of any of the fish the other boys caught. The clean cut boy in the
center is unhappy and only has one measly fish to show for the day s work. Meanwhile, the two underdressed
boys are both carrying multiple fish of decent size in their hands. It is surprising that the boy with expensive
fishing gear only has one small fish. Upon first glance, one would assume that the well dressed boy would
have been the most prosperous in catching the most fish. He has the most suitable fishing gear, but he did not
end up being the most fortunate when it came to catching fish. Wallace Wattles, an American author who

According to his model, Hofstede classed KSA on a scale of about 80 on the power distance index (Mead and

index. Conflict and competition is usually avoided (Mead and Andrews, 2009). The slow paced introduction of
westernization into the culture reveals how the society is resistant to change, the thought of which places
undue anxiety and stress on the members of its community. The attachment to family ties is a manifestation of
its collectivistic approach in the culture of the Saudis. The social identity is derived from a group membership
he/she shares. Loyalty to one s family members supersedes that of the individual; family involvement in
personal life is usually not seen as being invasive or interfering (Anon, 2008). Hofstede scores the Saudis as
having about 40 on the individualistic dimension (Mead and Andrews, 2009). Since this dimension expresses
independence, a low score would mean a higher tendency towards collectivism. Even though the culture of the
Saudis emphasizes hierarchy and autocracy, their mode of conflict resolution is compromise. The Saudi

bending, lifting, twisting, and typing in their job, as well as forceful movements from jobs requiring too much
strength or effort than the body can withstand. Clerks, musicians, martial artists, cooks, as well as assembly

Economic Variables And Asset Returns Using Monte Carlo...
1. Introduction
Economic trends vary from time to time. No one ensures today s gain will lead to the consequence that I will

asset returns using Monte Carlo technique across multiple time periods. Moreover, many economic variables
such as equity returns, credit transitions and exchange rates are stochastic processes. As a simple illustration
for equity scenarios, we can use the basic Geometric Brownian Motion, which is given by: , which is

When the policyholders retire, they can choose to buy an annuity from an insurance company using the

amounts depend on interest rate at retirement and can be formulated by solving: for the unknown , where

provide opportunities for patients to access their Personal Health Records (PHR) regardless of location and
time and, also very importantly to share this information with relevant health practitioners and institution.
They identify that Cloud computing offers unique opportunities for supporting long term record preservation .

With the radiology case, the authors used real patient data collected over the past 15 years to show that real
savings could be made if patients were able to show their PHR history to every specialist, as record shows

different health institutions. In the second use case they refer to the importance of PHR data privacy, and how
this data, if revealed to organizations like employers or banks could compromise relationships with these
institutions. The authors establish that the cloud setup would meet all requirements extracted from those two
use cases: particularly a patient s ability to share PHR with any medical institution from any physical location
and at any time, and also patients providing and assigning access to relevant health institution whilst ensuring
that data will not be used inappropriately. Based on those requirements, the authors argue that current PHR
systems only meet part of the requirements but not the whole set of them produced from real 2 case studies
From the requirements, the author s derived prototype for MyPHRMachine technical architecture, requires a

Disney s Zootopia is a great depiction of James Kouzes s and Barry Posner s Five Practices of Exemplary
Leadership. The main protagonist, Judy Hopps, exemplifies those practices model the way, inspire a shared
vision, challenge the process, enable others to act, and encourage the heart.
The first practice is model the way. According to Kouzes and Posner (2014), in order to model the way a
leader must clarify values by finding your voice and affirming shared values and set the example by aligning
actions with shared values. In the beginning of the movie Judy is putting on a play and at the end she talks

She also enlisted others at the end of the movie when she made her speech. During that speech, Judy says, try
to make the world a better place by accepting and understanding others. By asking the people of Zootopia to
try to understand each other she is appealing to the shared aspiration of making Zootopia safer and a place
where you can be anything you want to be.
The third practice is challenge the process. According to Kouzes and Posner (2014), challenging the process
means to search for opportunities by seizing the initiative and by looking outward for innovative ways to
improve and experiment and take risks by constantly generating small wins and learning from experience .
Judy challenged the process by seizing the initiative and taking the otter case, even when Chief Bogo didn t
want her to take it. She also looked outwards by enlisting Nick. By enlisting Nick, Judy found an innovative
way to take on the case because Nick was a criminal and thought like a criminal, therefore it gave Judy a new
perspective. Judy also challenged the process by and took a risk by becoming the first ever bunny cop. Judy
celebrated every small victory she had, she celebrated after every little clue they found about the missing otter
case. Throughout the whole movie, Judy was always challenging the process because she was changing the
status quo of what a bunny, and all animals, should be able to do.

Everybody has one; noun something such as a movie, television program, or piece of music, that one enjoys
despite the feeling that it is not generally held in high regard. ( Guilty Pleasure )
mine just happens to be exploring abandoned buildings. I am going to share a life changing summer
surrounded around one very unique building. I first discovered this hobby through a person who would grow
to become a very special person in my life. Now, my interest in urban exploring did not start with my special
place, I had to start on a beginner building and work my way up. Over lunch with my friend one Saturday
afternoon, he asked, have you ever climbed a building before? to which I replied, no. with a slight question

It looked like something out of a B rated horror film where all of the characters make horribly stupid mistakes
leading to their death, more than likely caused by one of the crackheads in the basement. We start to wind up
the never ending stairwell, being as quiet as possible and trying to stay aware of our surroundings.
Occasionally he would point out a board on the landing space and say, don t step on that. Meaning, there s a
hole there and if you step on that board then you ll fall through. It seemed as though he was speaking through
personal experience. After what felt like one hundred flights of stairs, we make it to the top of the silos, there
was a slight breeze that mingled with the warm mid summer air. I looked around in awe at the 360* view of
Fort Worth. We walked to the edge, sat down and dangled our legs over the edge, watching the skyline and
talking continuously for the rest of the afternoon. I knew, in that moment, that this would become a regular
thing. We made plans for the following Saturday. At 12:30 pm, my friend and I met at a popular park on the

The Indian Of The New Zealand Wars
The land wars also known as the New Zealand wars was a series of armed conflicts which took place in New
Zealand from 1845 to 1872. This occurred between the British/colonial government and the indigenous Maori.
During Captain Cook s earlier visit, he recommended New Zealand as an ideal area for Europeans to settle, in
particular, the Bay of Islands. The British government at the time payed no attention to Captain Cooks
recommendations. In 1810 the American and European whalers as well as traders began visiting the Bay of
Islands which created a settlement called Kororareka. Russell, which was the first capital of the country,
quickly became the fifth largest settlement in New Zealand filled with brothels and grog shops. The Ngapuhi
tribe which was from the North region of Auckland, were able to trade with the Local Europeans.
Furthermore, because of this the Maori came into contact with much needed and devastating inter tribal war
weapons such as the Musket. Due to this trade amongst the Maori and Europeans, the Ngapuhi tribe were the
first tribe to obtain such weapons. In the 1840s there was a written agreement between the British crown the
monarch, and more than 500 Maori chiefs. The treaty is made up of 3 articles and was written in 2 versions
Maori and English. In the first article written in English, it says that Maori leaders gave the Queen all rights
and powers of sovereignty over their land. However in the Maori version the Maori only gave the Queen te

Nationalist Movements of the Middle East and South Asia...
The years after World War One brought about vast changes to many parts of the world. Places like South Asia
and the Middle East were able to see the need for self government away from foreign control. This sparked a
number of nationalist movements during the 1920 s and 1930 s. The Middle East had to Westernize to rid
foreign control while India had to be united under non violence and Hindu values.
Before WW1, the Middle East was dominated by outside powers. Egypt was under British control and Persia
was divided in to Russian and British spheres of influence. The Ottomans tried to promote change with the
Tanzimat reforms which allowed some industrialization and modernization. However, in 1908, the Young
Turks took over and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This led to scarce food supplies, forced labor, and mistreatment of the peasantry, so Egypt was ready for a
revolt at the end of the war. The Egyptian nationalist elites decided to form a Wafd (meaning delegation in
Arabic) party under the leader Sa d Zaghlul that rid the British in 1936 from the Suez Canal. However, they
did very little to alleviate the misery of the majority. Rather, Egyptian politicians held office just to increase
their own family fortune and had no time for land reforms and public works projects that the peasantry
desperately needed. Thus, the Egytian revolution led to backwardness. The peasantry of India similarly
suffered during WW1. India was controlled by the British who pushed the peasantry for cash crops such as
cotton (muslin), jute, and indigo. India s budget was used for the expenses of the British army and the
salaries/pensions of British administrators. Many Indians died on the battlefield for a conflict that had little to
do with them. War led to inflation which affected all parts of society. Peasants were angered about set prices
on market goods despite the rising cost. People were unable to sell what they produced due to shipping
shortages. The meager wages of laborers dropped while prices increased. Only bosses grew rich from profits
earned in war production. Many commoners suffered from epidemics and starvation. At the end of

ABSTRACT In the present study, we investigate laterality effects on motor learning based on motor imagery
workout in childhood. Four children groups that were mentally and physically right hand performed reaching
movement via upper and non upper hand with speed and accuracy as possible. Before and after training
session the movement time has recorded and analyzed. Results showed that mental and physical practices
through similar learning processes (similar exponentially learning curves), have positive effect on both hand
performance. But in comparison with mental imagery, motion time in post test session became significant for
both hands after physical practice. More importantly, in comparison with motor imagery with non upper hand,
mental imagery with upper hand leads to wider progress in motor speed. This kind of advances did not show
up in control group. Findings of this study show priority of upper hand in motor learning via mental workout.

a.)
b.) There will be a shortage created. Initially the public might be happy about the price ceiling, but soon after
the sellers will begin to ration the graham crackers based on other factors since the one most willing to pay
will no longer be a factor. Also, this might cause consumers to stand in long lines in order to be able to
purchase the graham crackers, but since there are not enough graham crackers supplied, not everyone will be
able to purchase the graham crackers. In the end, producers will move on to produce other products that are
more profitable than graham crackers, worsening the shortage.
3. Pollution is considered by most a negative externality. Some economists would like to see the costs of these
burdens incorporated into the price of goods that we buy. For instance, since coal fire power plants increase
emissions that could potentially lead to climate change, these economists believe that the price we pay for
electricity is not adequately high enough. Draw a completely labeled graph and illustrate on the graph how
much higher electricity prices would be if the full costs of electricity production were taken into account. You

Howard Carter spent almost his whole life looking for King Tut s tomb and when he found it he was over the moon. King Tut s tomb was very important, it helped us learn more about earlier civilizations, and showed us what king tut s reign was like while he was king. When howard carter discovered king tut s tomb it was a very important discovery because it allowed archeologists to learn more about people who lived during king tut s time. In Brad Yurgens article King Tut is Best he wrote that From an archaeological standpoint, I think that the discovery of King Tutankhamen s tomb is the most important and valuable discovery I think that this is because of the knowledge gained from all of the artifacts recovered from the site, (Source 1). Egyptians put everything that they thought would be useful for that person in their afterlife into their burial chamber with them. King Tut s tomb helped us to see what his reign was like. • 4. Film Noir In Alfred Hitchcock s Film Vertigo Here I was born, and there I died. It was only a moment for you; you took no notice, says Madeleine, played by Kim Novak, as she foreshadows the mysterious events which take place in Vertigo. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, Vertigo qualifies as a film noir because it contains a femme fatale, a pessimistic romance, and is filmed by an immigrant director. Many film noirs contain a femme fatale, and Vertigo is no different. Madeleine and Judy, both played by Kim Novak, are definitely femme fatales. A femme fatale is a mysterious, two faced, deceitful, manipulative, and overall beautiful woman. Both characters portray that definition perfectly. For example, they are literally two faced, being that Madeleine and Judy are played by the same actress. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Alfred Hitchcock, the great master of suspense, came from England. He travelled to the United States with his family to create better and greater films that could be even more successful than they were in England. Hitchcock loved a suspenseful and dark film, which caused him to create some of the greatest films of all time such as Psycho, The Birds, and North By Northwest. His film Vertigo displays all of these aspects, causing the film to be a perfect example of the Hitchcockian style. This style came from when Hitchcock was a child in England, where his parents would punish him harshly whenever he was behaving badly. Not only that, but at his British Catholic school, he would be harshly punished, but he set the time for when he felt he should get his punishment that week. The way he was raised in another country was completely unique and new to American film, causing his film noir Vertigo to contain many of the features he is known for today. Being an immigrant, Alfred Hitchcock brought new unique factors to the American film noir. Overall, just by coming from another country and adding his foreign touch, Hitchcock s film, Vertigo qualifies as a film ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, based on research there seems to be a notable profitable gain within certain pharmaceutical companies, some assume that these companies value money more than offering a permanent cure. Thus making it hard to believe that pharmaceutical companies are in favor of offering medicines that cure certain types of cancer but instead prolong it. • 6. The Army And Marine Corps Sun Tzu s military acumen resonates in the current discussion of the Marine Corps preparedness to conduct forcible entry. The Army and Marine Corps saw significant successes utilizing forcible entry and amphibious operations in the Pacific during WWII and the Korean War. The landing at Inchon was arguably the Corps greatest amphibious success (Cancian, Preserving Amphibious Capabilities in a Time of Austerity, 2012). Led by General MacArthur, Inchon remains the legacy by which future amphibious operations are compared against. However, it is important to recognize that in the past 60+ years since Inchon, the modern militarization of both state and non state adversaries has transformed the battlespace to utilize warfare across multiple domains. This transformation requires a forthright Sun Tzu like comparison of Marine Corps capabilities, and the perspicacity to recognize that our current posture along with a traditional approach to amphibious warfare is no longer effective at countering our enemies. Given the challenges that exist across the domains of military operations, this paper will demonstrate how based on the current concepts and amphibious capabilities, the U.S. Marine Corps is less prepared to conduct forcible entry operations than we were during the landing at Inchon, and subsequent liberation of Seoul. The transformation in military thought towards employment of forces across multi domain operations battlespace is based on the current threats ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. Temperature Of A Frog Lab Report Effects of Temperature on a Frog INTRODUCTION: Amphibians are cold blooded animals that adapt to the surrounding temperatures. Frogs are one kind of amphibian. Frogs are cold blooded. Cold blooded animals are more active in warmer temperatures and stagnant when it is cold. A frog s system is always moving, but depending on the temperature it is exposed to, its breaths aren t always clearly visible or at a constant rate. A frog s skin is able to take in oxygen in exchange for carbon dioxide, so all of a frog s breathing isn t done through its lungs. Water is a compound made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Molecules in warmer water move around at a faster speed than molecules in colder water. The problem to be solved is what the effect of different water temperatures have on a frog s breathing rate. Since the frog is cold blooded, its body temperature changes depending on the environment. Because molecules move quickly in warmer water, the frog s respiratory system circulates faster. Molecules moving slower in colder water do not allow the frog to take in as much oxygen as often. Therefore, a warmer temperature makes a frog s breathing rate per minute increase while a colder temperature makes it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Henry Black, a former slave, trying to express his frustration, said anything that kept you a slave because he was always right and you were always wrong . Sharecropping wasn t the only way that Southerners inhibited the freedom of former slaves. Under Johnson s control states were able to enact Black Codes. Is the problem that exercise options and health foods are not available and affordable, or are individuals simply making the choice not to engage in healthy behavior because they prefer to spend their time and money on other goods and activities? The focal point of the analyst in answering this question should be to demonstrate how individuals that do not have access to or who are unable to afford exercise or wellness options are less prone to be involved in healthy behavior thus leading to lower productivity and absenteeism due to health related issues. The analyst should point out that when employers take an active role in making healthy choices readily available to employees all parties stand to profit. Employees who choose to take an active role by participating in such programs benefit from healthy lifestyle changes which in turn increases productivity and reduces health spending for employers. Nietzsches Superman Essay Though when most people think of superheroes they think of the type with super powers, the original idea of the superman was developed by Friedrich Nietzsche in the 1800s. The ubermensch (literally overman in German) never had extra ordinary powers and wasn t developed as the protector of man. Instead, the superman is a person who has overcome all the flaws of mankind and is essentially perfect. This idea, though it was thought of as an ideal goal that all people should strive for, has almost completely been used for less than good agendas. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He felt the idea of the superman as well as other Nietzsche writings gave him and the Nazis the right and the reason to take over what they wished and impose the beliefs they wished. In fact, Hitler believed himself to be a superman. This belief is evident by the way Hitler acted during his reign as the leader of the Nazi party. The attempted destruction of the Jewish people as a race was actually based on writings by Nietzsche. In Hitler s mind the Jews were inferior and therefore no compassion should be given to them. Hitler, of course, took this once step further and actually killed many of the weak. During World War II Hitler even issued every German soldier a copy of one of Nietzsche s writings, Thus Spake Zarathustra. National Socialism and Fascism also spawned from Nietzsche and his thoughts on society. Nietzsche himself was very much socialist in his beliefs which is evident in much of what he wrote. Though socialism may seem far from Nietzsche s idea of the superman, it is actually very close because the ruler is looked at as a superman who makes all decisions and knows what is best at all times. This can be seen in many societies such as Italy and Germany in World War II, and to some extent The Soviet Union. In each of these cases the ruling party or man used Nietzsche s beliefs to rationalize their rampant wars, hatred, and genocide. A ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

With a population of 26 million by the time construction began on the dam, the government of Egypt was worried about food and energy demands. The dams original thought was to provide power and expand available water supplies outside of the flooding season to allow for higher agricultural yields. The construction of the dam also thought to carry some secondary effect with it, such as additional fishing grounds and channels for navigation. It was believed that the additional energy production would also drive down the price of electricity, making it more affordable. A major aspect of the dam project was the reservoir to hold the floodwaters and control the release rate. However, the creation of the reservoir flooded a large upper land area requiring the relocation of over 50,000 Nubian residents. The relocating of residents because of dam construction is fairly common, as over ten million residents of China of had to relocate as a result of dams, 1.5 million for the three gorges dam alone. The relocation of the Nubians did have a positive effect over time as their infectious disease rate dropped. Although the relocation did leave them unhappy as they were moved further into the desert. The reservoir also negatively impacted archaeological sites in the area, as they were flooded over. The reservoir it self was predicted by some scientists that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This should be written in paragraph format. Each section should include the answers to the following questions Lab Topic: Effects of Osmosis with Potato Cells in Sucrose Solution Introduction: Small slices of potato are placed in six concentrations of sucrose: 0.0 M, 0.1 M, 0.2 M, 0.3 M, 0.4 M, and 0.5 M. The initial mass of potato is noted before being placed in the solution. The potato remained in the solution for one hour then the potato was removed from the solution and dried off before the final mass was noted. The null hypothesis is that the solutions of different molarities of sucrose will not affect the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Once the hour was over, the potato slices were removed from the solution, dried off in a paper towel, and weighed once again. In the 0.0, 0.1, and 0.2 M of sucrose concentrations the final mass of the potato increased. Therefore H2O enters the potato cell because the solution is hypotonic. In the 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5 M of sucrose concentration the final mass of potato decreases. The solution is hypertonic which causes H2O to exit the potato cells through the semipermeable phospholipid bilayer. The results prove that the different molarities of concentration affect the mass of the potato in different ways; the mass of potato either increased or decreased depending on the molarity of sucrose concentration. Caption: The line of best fit shows the pattern that as molarity increases in the sucrose concentration then the percent change in mass of potato decreases. Discussion: Determining the Osmotic Concentration of Potato Tuber Cells When Placed in Sucrose Solutions In this experiment, the osmotic concentration is found with potato slices placed in sucrose solutions. Osmosis in this model is the net movement of water between the potato cell and the sucrose solution. The movement of water is determined by the molarity of sucrose. As the molarity of sucrose increased then the concentration in the solution also increased. H2O will move through the cell membrane to areas of higher concentration in order to reach equilibrium. Differences in price are huge, often resulting in frustrations from consumers. In this thesis, I will try to explain differences between the brands by taking a closer look at the technical aspects of the available razor blades. Diamond like carbon is a class of amorphous carbon material which displays some typical properties of diamond. This material is often applied as coating to other materials so that it can benefit from some of the material properties of the DLC (diamond like carbon). It is known that one of the properties of a DLC is a high hardness, which, on the other hand, makes it difficult to bond the material to most metals. Some processes are known to tackle this problem, which we will discuss later. [1] Around the year 2000 more became known about the attractive properties of diamond like carbons and Gillette, the market leader of razor blades, saw its potential. No matter what culture we re from, everyone loves music. This famous quote said by Billy Joel does a good job describing the way music can affect people. Different songs can impact people, change their moods, or bring back memories related to a certain tune. Each person, however, has their own unique taste in music; one song can be loved by one but hated by another, it all depends on our personal taste and what we can relate to. Similarly to Kids , the song Paradise starts with the idea of childhood. When she was just a girl she expected the world. But it flew away from her reach so she ran away in her sleep and dreamed of paradise is the opening verse for this tune. It talks of a young girl with big dreams expecting the world. As the girl in the song grows up she finds that life is not as simple as she believed. Life goes on, it gets so heavy. The wheel breaks the butterfly. Every tear a waterfall. In the night the stormy night she ll close her eyes. Those lyrics are a good example of how life has some downs, tears, and storms, but it talks of how the girl stays positive when the song says, She d say, I know the sun must set to rise. I think this song is a good reflection of me. I have big dreams for myself, but as life goes on I go through some bumps in the road. I have encountered many of my own stormy nights, but I know the sun will rise to a clearer and brighter day in time. Summary of the academic paper Lifelong personal health data and application software via virtual machines in the cloud by Van Gorp, P Comuzzi, M The authors emphases their research on exploring and presenting a novel prototype system which would provide opportunities for patients to access their Personal Health Records (PHR) regardless of location and time and, also very importantly to share this information with relevant health practitioners and institution. They identify that Cloud computing offers unique opportunities for supporting long term record preservation . The authors further argued that the latest cloud technology would be the best solution architecturally to access PHR data from virtually any device. They state that ... The authors were certain that this indicates that there is no data integration between different health institutions. In the second use case they refer to the importance of PHR data privacy, and how this data, if revealed to organizations like employers or banks could compromise relationships with these institutions. The authors establish that the cloud setup would meet all requirements extracted from those two use cases: particularly a patient s ability to share PHR with any medical institution from any physical location and at any time, and also patients providing and assigning access to relevant health institution whilst ensuring that data will not be used inappropriately. Based on those requirements, the authors argue that current PHR systems only meet part of the requirements but not the whole set of them produced from real 2 case studies From the requirements, the author s derived prototype for MyPHRMachine technical architecture, requires a Java enabled browser or native RDP client. • 37. Zootopia Film Analysis Leadership Film Analysis Disney s Zootopia is a great depiction of James Kouzes s and Barry Posner s Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership. The main protagonist, Judy Hopps, exemplifies those practices model the way, inspire a shared vision, challenge the process, enable others to act, and encourage the heart. The first practice is model the way. According to Kouzes and Posner (2014), in order to model the way a leader must clarify values by finding your voice and affirming shared values and set the example by aligning actions with shared values. In the beginning of the movie Judy is putting on a play and at the end she talks about how Zootopia is a place where you can be anything you want to be. This is the first time we hear ... During that speech, Judy says, try to make the world a better place by accepting and understanding others. By asking the people of Zootopia to try to understand each other she is appealing to the shared aspiration of making Zootopia safer and a place where you can be anything you want to be. The third practice is challenge the process. According to Kouzes and Posner (2014), challenging the process means to search for opportunities by seizing the initiative and by looking outward for innovative ways to improve and experiment and take risks by constantly generating small wins and learning from experience . Judy challenged the process by seizing the initiative and taking the otter case, even when Chief Bogo didn t want her to take it. She also looked outwards by enlisting Nick. By enlisting Nick, Judy found an innovative way to take on the case because Nick was a criminal and thought like a criminal, therefore it gave Judy a new perspective. Judy also challenged the process by and took a risk by becoming the first ever bunny cop. Judy celebrated every small victory she had, she celebrated after every little clue they found about the missing otter case. Throughout the whole movie, Judy was always challenging the process because she was changing the status quo of what a bunny, and all animals, should be able to do. The fourth practice is enable ... Places like South Asia and the Middle East were able to see the need for self government away from foreign control. This sparked a number of nationalist movements during the 1920 s and 1930 s. The Middle East had to Westernize to rid foreign control while India had to be united under non violence and Hindu values. Before WW1, the Middle East was dominated by outside powers. The Egyptian nationalist elites decided to form a Wafd (meaning delegation in Arabic) party under the leader Sa d Zaghlul that rid the British in 1936 from the Suez Canal. However, they did very little to alleviate the misery of the majority. Rather, Egyptian politicians held office just to increase their own family fortune and had no time for land reforms and public works projects that the peasantry desperately needed. Thus, the Egytian revolution led to backwardness. The peasantry of India similarly suffered during WW1. India was controlled by the British who pushed the peasantry for cash crops such as cotton (muslin), jute, and indigo. India s budget was used for the expenses of the British army and the salaries/pensions of British administrators. Many Indians died on the battlefield for a conflict that had little to do with them. Four children groups that were mentally and physically right hand performed reaching movement via upper and non upper hand with speed and accuracy as possible. Before and after training session the movement time has recorded and analyzed. Results showed that mental and physical practices through similar learning processes (similar exponentially learning curves), have positive effect on both hand performance. But in comparison with mental imagery, motion time in post test session became significant for both hands after physical practice. More importantly, in comparison with motor imagery with non upper hand, mental imagery with upper hand leads to wider progress in motor speed. This kind of advances did not show up in control group. Findings of this study show priority of upper hand in motor learning via mental workout. Keywords: Motor Imagery, Motor Learning, Mental Training, Internal Pattern, Reaching ...
