2. What is it?
It is a discipline whose object of study is
human language. This is a theoretical science
as formulated explanations designed to justify
the phenomena of language, is design
theories about some aspects of language and
a general theory of it.
3. What is it for?
It is the science that allows us to communicate
with others. If there linguistics there would
languages nor grammatical rules by which
they govern.
4. Types
Theoretical Linguistics
It is the scientific structure of language,
including grammar, syntax, morphology and
semantics. They tend to explain language as
several theoretical rules.
5. Descriptive Linguistics
Descriptive linguistics examines the use of
language in society, tracking changes in it over
time and the use of languages around the
world.
6. Applied Linguistics
Applied linguistics is covering the
psychological, social and anthropological
linguistics. Applied Linguists tend to have a
more scientific basis and generally practiced
the development of children.
7. Comparative Linguistics
The comparative linguists study the
relationships between two or more languages
and investigate whether the languages have a
common ancestor.

in a given area (language or psychomotor
development) and learn quickly and easily.
Gifted children are those who show an
outstanding ability in a particular subject
(usually in academia). For example, children
