This document discusses the control system design for LINAC 4, including a klystron model with error rates of 5.3% and 3.84%, and a PIMS cavity model with parameters like impedance and quality factor. It presents a Smith predictor design using a process model with 10% error and delay estimation to compensate for the 1100ns total loop delay. Simulation results are shown comparing closed loop responses with and without feedforward compensation for beam disturbances.
