in games; she worked with me on my shooting, leg work, and just the basics in general. But she
wasn t the only friend I made on the team; I got to know some Seniors who were really nice. One
of them even gave me a crown that said Varsity Water Polo 2016 . When she gave it to me, I
asked, Is this one of those Burger King crowns? and she replied, No! I got it .. from the crown
store! Nevertheless, that is still one of my favorite memories. It was just so random that I loved

A huge thing that has impacted society and especially sport today was the passing of Title IX. It
changed the way we look at sport and how we address it. Title IX is a law that passed in 1972
that requires gender equity for men and women in all educational programs that receive federal
funding (titleix.info). The government showed that they will not play favorites and that we are all
equal before the law (Summers). The passing of this law was a turning point for women. It
impacted women in many areas of life but when most people think of Title IX, sportfirst comes to
mind. Women had played sports before this time, but did not receive all the same opportunities as
men. Women athletic programs were not provided with the same funds that men sports and female
college athletes received only two percent of overall athletic budgets. There was much less woman

message about war. The intention of the photo was to turn the public s opinion against war. In this
photograph, a young woman known as Jan Rose Kasmir comes face to face with guards outside
the Pentagon and she is marching towards them in protest against war. Riboud saw this young
innocent woman confront the guards and he slowly crept up to the side of her and took the
picture with her not knowing. Many years later, Jose Rose Kasmir saw the picture and began to
cry as it took her back to the overwhelming sadness of the war. I will discuss the technical aspects
of the image and look at the various readings that can be seen. I will also discuss my own
reflection of the photograph and the reasons why I chose to analyse it.
There are a number of technical aspects used in this photograph. It uses depth of field which
gives a focused image. The photograph lacks sharpness apart from the flower that Jan Rose
Kasmir is holding. The flower has a sharp focus and looking closely at the image, the quality in
the flower compared to the focus in the young woman s face is quite different. The way that this
has been created makes the flower more appealing than looking at the guards or the young woman.

In this part, I am going to talk about the elder people in the residential care home that are cooking a
Christmas dinner for their families. In this, I am going to identify the hazards that might occur and
how to resolve them.
Hazard: Anything that has the probability or may cause harm (what could go wrong).
Likelihood: The chance of harm occurring as a result of exposure to a hazard.
Consequence: The level of harm that may occur as a result of exposure to or contact with a hazard.
Risk: Risk is the chance high or low that an event/hazard will occur or may prevent the Trust from
achieving its objectives.
A risk assessment is a plan put in place to reduce the risk of harm occurring, it aims to identify
potential risks to the health, safety or security of a care practitioner. Risk assessments have to be
held under the health and safety at work act and Management of Health and Safety Regulations
1999. Five steps to risk assessment can be followed to ensure that your risk assessment is carried
out correctly, these five steps are:
1. Identify the hazards
2. Decide who might be harmed and how
3. Evaluate the risks and decide on control measures
4. Record your findings and implement them
5. Review

Similarities Between Nazi Germany And The Holocaust
Bayer and Nazi Germany During the Holocaust, many companies were associated with Nazi
Germany. One well known German company called IG Farben manufactured the Zyklon B gas
that was used in the gas chambers to kill millions. They also funded many of Josef Mengele s
experiments on concentration camp prisoners. They were the most powerful German economic
corporate emporium. IG Farben was considered the single largest donor to Adolph Hitler s election
campaign.
During the Holocaust, IG Farben was the only German company in the Third Reich that had its
own concentration camp. Over thirty thousand slave workers were either killed here, deported to
the gas chambers, or died from some other cause. Thousands died due to the testing of new or
unknown vaccines. The plant that they built was located in Auschwitz, and the workforce they
used was almost for free. It was no coincidence that they built it in this location. Many medical
Experiments were conducted by I.G. Farben.
They were also done in other concentration camps SS Major Dr. Helmuth Vetter was stationed in
several concentration camps. At the order of Bayer Leverkusen, he performed many horrible
experiments on the prisoners. The experiments performed, led to many prisoner deaths. At the same
time was Dr. Joseph Mengele, they experimented with many medications, not only were they
applied to sick prisoners, they were applied to the healthy ones as well.
