Objective
Software Engineer
. I am an enthusiastic hard-working Master student with seven years’ study in the field of Computer Science and
have a solid development background.
Education
ResearchAssistant, University of California San Diego (UCSD) July 2015 - Present
ResearchAssistant, University of California San Diego August 2014 - March 2015
M.S in Computer Architecture, Northwest A&F University, China September 2013 - Present
B.S in Computer Science, Northwest A&F University, China September 2009 - June 2013
RelevantWork Experience
WEB services and Windows/Linux Applications:
A interactive web interface for clinical study over genome data UCSD 2015
 Gene types searching on specific chromosome positions and medical information retrieving of
all patients and Gene similarity calculating for users in database (Rshiny, JavaScript, Mongodb).
 Link: http://pgp.ucsd-dbmi.org:3838/GenAnaly/PatientGen/
A distributed homomorphic genome sharing and analysis system UCSD 2015
 Inspired by Beacon Project of GAGH, we built a homomorphic protected framework for genome
data sharing and analysis (J2EE, PHP, JBoss, Nginx, VirtualMachine).
A privacy-preserving medical data sharing and analyses web service UCSD 2014
 Protecting individual privacy while sharing sensitive data stored at University of Oklahoma for
Strong Heart Study research (R, Rshiny, Nginx, Shiny-Server, LDAP, shell scripts).
 Link: https://witness.ucsd-dbmi.org/.
Summer internship at Trena Company China 2012
 Worked as a team member and developed a Telecommunication Data Mining System on UNIX
(C++, Oricle, shell script).
Audio-visual conference application Northwest A&F University China 2011
 Worked as a team member, developed a H.323 protocol based conference application in which we
use H.264 to encode vedio (MFC, H.322 protocol, H.264).
DATA Encryption/Security, Data Compression/Analysis and High Performance Computing:
Protect Genome data security with Secure Multiparty Computation UCSD 2015
 Using GMW protocol based Secure Multiparty Computation to develop secure genome
sequences analysis approaches (shell, python, R).
Study on Homomorphic encryption algorithms UCSD 2014
 Implemented homomorphic adder, mutiplier and comparator over binary vector and fixed point
adder over long integer type for genome sequence analysis (FHElib, C++).
Worked on lossless Data Compression like Distributed Arithmetic Coding (DAC) and
Arithmetic Coding (AC). NorthwestA&F University China 2012 ~ 2014
A parallel implementation of JPEG algorithm NorthwestA&F University China 2013
 Gained 4 times speed up over original JPEG algorithm (C++, CUDA platform, GTX480).
A parallel DAC decoder Northwest A&F University China 2013
 Achieved 9 times performance gain over the single-thread implementation (CUDA , MATLAB).
Multi-sections based parallel merge sort Northwest A&F University China 2012
 Implemented a parallel merge sort algorithm which sorted two ordered sequences by iteratively
merging fixed fragment pairs.
IEEE Computer Mouse (MicroMouse) Maze China 2010
 Developed effective search methods (e.g. flood fill algorithm) to get out shortest path, improved
smoothing turning, infrared sensor adjusting, obtain excellent results(C, arm9 chip).
