Szilard Nagy was a top student of Dr. Tamás Vinkó at the University of Szeged in Hungary, earning the best mark in three of Dr. Vinkó's courses. To whom it may concern,
I am writing this recommendation letter at the request of my former student,
Szil´ard Nagy.
Szil´ard was an MSc student of Software Information Technology at the University
of Szeged, Hungary, between 2012 and 2014. He attended three courses of mine,
in all cases he got the best mark. Besides, he also shown interest working in a
scientific project called futurICT.hu, under my supervision.
Szil´ard was involved in the Optimization in fully distributed systems stream of
the futurICT.hu project. His main role was to extend a BitTorrent simulator using
several video-on-demand protocol variants in order to make it available to ex-
perimentally investigate the robustness of these variants in mixed environments.
This task involved programming in C# and writing scripts for data processing.
During his project work he consistently managed to certify his abilities in doing
computer code development and maintenance of the output data. He was always
able to communicate his research ideas and was always eager to help and give
useful technical suggestions.
I strongly believe that Szil´ard is an excellent candidate for the position he is ap-
plying and I warmly recommend him for acceptance.
