Research Experience
Project on Statistical Interior Tomography (SIT) based on biological image technology 01/2013-05/2013
Collaborate with two other PHD candidates majored in image technology.
Motivated by the fact the in many medical treatments like cardiovascular diseases and cardiac CT treatments, SIT will help scientists and doctors acquire more data and spatial resolution of image with much less dose injected into human bodies.
All finished in Matlab with actual analysis of input image and output image.
Using the ideas of back projection, inverse truncated Hilbert transform (THT), interior tomography on convex sets, optimization by compressed sensing (CS) based reconstruction, total variation penalty method and nonlinear filtering.
The statistical handling and coding are highly evaluated as the first level. Only concerns are the speed and further expectations on resolution enhancement.
Application of RFID on the Automatic Fare Collection System of Name-based Train Tickets 11/2010-04/2011
5 month project, 6-member team, worked as the team leader.
Program a simulation in Borland C++ Builder of ticket-selling system connecting to a database system set up in SQL Server; created a website whose function resembles the function of real railway-ticket-selling system as an output window of the system; by utilizing RFID blank card; devised a kind of substitution of current railway tickets in China; put them together as a good demonstration of the idea of ‘Internet of Things’ (virtual representations of objects in an Internet-like structure).
