Central Library : a prelude
The University Library was established in the year 2009 and it serves the
students, faculty members and staff of the university.
The library has a collection of about 26,700
books. Of these, more than 1,500 books are
reference books (Handbooks, Dictionaries,
Encyclopaedias, and coloured atlases, etc) and
the rest are Textbooks and General books.
The library also has 114 CDs/DVDs and
subscribes to 19 print journals.

Library Timings
Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 8.00 pm
Saturday 10 am to 5.30 pm
Circulation Timings :Issue / Return 9.00 am to 6.00 pm
∙ Maintain discipline in the library. Maintain Q’s at circulation
counter.
∙ Carry ID Cards at all times & produce them on demand
∙ Sign on Gate-Register while entering or leaving library

Electronic Resource Access
The e-Shodh Sindhu will continue to provide current as well as archival access to more
than 15,000 core and peer-reviewed journals and a number of bibliographic, citation and
factual databases in different disciplines from a large number of publishers and
aggregators to its member institutions including centrally-funded technical institutions,
universities and colleges
J-Gate is an electronic gateway to global e-journal literature. Launched in 2001 by
Informatics India Limited, J-Gate provides seamless access to millions of journal articles
available online offered by 13,269 Publishers. It presently has a massive database of
journal literature, indexed from 45,220 e-journals with links to full text at publisher sites.
EPWRF India Time Series is a unique online database with its comprehensive coverage
of Indian economy for a fairly long time period and it comprises over 25,000 variables
capsuled in 15 modules. The database tries to provide in continuous time series from
1950 depending on the availability.
Electronic Resource Access
The International Monetary Fund's (IMF) eLibrary simplifies analysis and research with
direct access to the IMF’s periodicals, books, working papers and studies, and data and
statistical tools. You will find information and perspective on macroeconomics,
globalization, development, trade and aid, technical assistance, demographics, emerging
markets, policy advice, poverty reduction, and so much more.
Knimbus is a cloud based eLibrary that serves knowledge seekers with learning content
they need, wherever they are. The platform houses eBooks, eJournals, multimedia
content and other premium learning content sourced by your organization's library;
practically all the knowledge you may need
SciFinder® is a research discovery application that provides integrated access to the
world's most comprehensive and authoritative source of references, substances and
reactions in chemistry and related sciences.
