getting ready for school. She was not looking forward to walking into the living
room, because her father would be there waiting. He was always sitting in his chair
watching television. She tried every morning to not go into the living room and to
sneak past him, but each morning he would see her and nightmare would start. He
did not hit her, in fact he never touched her. His words where his weapons and the
cut her like a knife. He would tell her things like school will not help her get any
smarter and she should not bother going. He would say he should have left her the
same way her dumb mother did. He would threaten to sign away any legal rights to
her. He made lots of threats to her such as threating to hit her, not provide food to
her or let her leave the house and deny her of visitors. Tears would roll down her
face and she would leave the house for school. When she arrived at school she
would act like she was fine. This girl did not know that her home experiences are a

Going to a university where football is taken as serious as it is here at Arizona is
an affair of it s own. Personally, I had only experienced various high school
football games, until September 3rd, 2015 when I decided to attend The
University of Arizona vs. UTSA here at our home stadium. The school spirit, pride
and student section, also known as the ZonaZoo, are all such huge contributions to
the experience itself. Although football games are only one part of the community
here at the U of A, they bring out the comradery in our student body as U of A
students love to watch their school succeed against opponents. The clock struck
3:30pm as I walked into my apartment on Thursday the 3rd after my MIS class. I
proceeded to unlock my bedroom, put my bag down and get into my UA Wildcat
gear in preparation for the first game. My fraternity brothers and I were all meeting
over at our house shortly so we could all walk to the stadium together. I then
proceeded down the elevator, out to Park Avenue, and started my walk to the
