ABOUT COMPANY:
The Libela orodja tool shop is a renowned company with a long tradition, which guarantees high quality
products and services as well as complete customer satisfaction. Since 1992, when it took over the long
tradition of tool making and sheet metal perforation from Libela, industrija tehtnic in finomehanike in
bankruptcy, it functions as a limited liability company. At the tool shop we develop and manufacture
combined progressive and transfer tools for sheet metal forming (cutting, bending, combined and drawing),
tools for polymer injection moulding, pressure die-casting, devices for automation and perforated sheet
metal. We perform CNC wire and NC electro-discharge erosion by immersion, CNC measurements on a
coordinate measuring machine, CNC milling, vertical and horizontal NC milling, NC surface and cylindrical
grinding, turning, welding, sharpening, metal pressed parts, cutting, straightening and perforating sheet
metal. Through constant investments in knowledge and hardware capabilities, with years of experience and
continuous efforts for growth and high quality of our products and services, we have been for years now
building the trust of our customers.
TOOLMAKING
At the Libela orodja tool shop we develop and manufacture progressive sheet forming tools for automotive
industry, household appliances industry, metal processing industry, furniture industry and electric industry.
The tools are constructed according to technical and technological requirements of our customers as
individual on manual shifting, transfer or progressive tools. Achieved deadlines and suitability of finished
products are assured by deliberate manufacturing technology, construction in a modern software
environment (Solid Edge, Solid Works), precise measurement of pressed parts with a coordinate measuring
machine, optimisation of tools on a hydraulic press and manufacturing of complex tool components on
modern CNC machines supported by modern software (SolidCam, iMachining, Esprit, BobCAD-CAM).
When developing tools and automation devices, we cooperate with our customers from the model design of
the product, the methodology of making and constructing the tools, to first prototypes and test samples, and
final handover of the tools to use. The tools are developed according to technical and technological
requirements of the customers with the help of modern software for construction in space (Mechanical
Desktop, Solid Edge, Solid Works), while the machining is done with the state-of-the-art software for milling
(Mastercam, SolidCAM, iMachining, Esprit, QAPT, BobCAD, Metrosoft). The wealth of experience in tool
making, understanding of what is happening in the tool, precise measurements during optimization and tool
testing enable us at the Libela orodja tool shop to discover and eliminate errors prior to the start of serial
production. Detailed tool designing and selection of methodology with high quality making of tools are
expressed only when testing, assembly and launch of a tool in a serial production of the customer are
successfully and timely completed.
AUTOMATISATION
At the Libela orodja tool shop we develop and manufacture special purpose machines for tending machines
with workpieces, assembling and controlling products, welding, bending, cutting, punching, drilling, milling,
threading and the rest on a “turnkey” basis. Automation of manufacturing operations increases work
productivity, ensures reproducibility and product quality, enables production of more complex and attractive
products. Scrap reduction and productivity increase raise job security as well as safety in the workplace.
With the development of modern technologies and forming processes, prototypes have strongly increased in
importance. Unlike virtual models, prototypes enable haptic and spatial perception as well as testing in
limited series. The Libela orodja tool shop develops and manufactures prototype tools for various
manufacturing processes.
TOOLS TRYOUT
Detailed tool designing and selection of methodology with high quality making of tools are expressed only when
testing, assembly and launch of a tool in a serial production of the customer are successfully and timely
completed. Tools for steel metal forming are previously optimised and tested on a drawing hydraulic press
Lasco with the table dimensions 1600 x 1000 mm and mechanical presses ILR 160 with the table dimensions
1134 x 889 mm.
SMALL BATCH PRODUCTION
By using the technology of machine pressed parts and machine perforation we manufacture all types of pressed
parts, sieves and strainers, fences, sound protection, wall panels, protective and tread sheet metal. We produce
also smaller series of more demanding semi-manufactured products from the fields of tool making and machine
manufacture.
PERFORATED METAL SHEETS PRODUCTION
Verified production technology, long tradition and comprehensive planning guarantee the quality of our
products and services. The technological procedure of cold punching, mechanical cutting and straightening of
sheet metal are used in the production of perforated sheet metal.

Libela orodja (ENG)

  • 1. LIBELA ORODJA, IZDELOVANJE ORODIJ IN PERFORIRANJE PLOČEVINE, D.O.O., CELJE ABOUT COMPANY: The Libela orodja tool shop is a renowned company with a long tradition, which guarantees high quality products and services as well as complete customer satisfaction. Since 1992, when it took over the long tradition of tool making and sheet metal perforation from Libela, industrija tehtnic in finomehanike in bankruptcy, it functions as a limited liability company. At the tool shop we develop and manufacture combined progressive and transfer tools for sheet metal forming (cutting, bending, combined and drawing), tools for polymer injection moulding, pressure die-casting, devices for automation and perforated sheet metal. We perform CNC wire and NC electro-discharge erosion by immersion, CNC measurements on a coordinate measuring machine, CNC milling, vertical and horizontal NC milling, NC surface and cylindrical grinding, turning, welding, sharpening, metal pressed parts, cutting, straightening and perforating sheet metal. Through constant investments in knowledge and hardware capabilities, with years of experience and continuous efforts for growth and high quality of our products and services, we have been for years now building the trust of our customers.
  • 2. TOOLMAKING At the Libela orodja tool shop we develop and manufacture progressive sheet forming tools for automotive industry, household appliances industry, metal processing industry, furniture industry and electric industry. The tools are constructed according to technical and technological requirements of our customers as individual on manual shifting, transfer or progressive tools. Achieved deadlines and suitability of finished products are assured by deliberate manufacturing technology, construction in a modern software environment (Solid Edge, Solid Works), precise measurement of pressed parts with a coordinate measuring machine, optimisation of tools on a hydraulic press and manufacturing of complex tool components on modern CNC machines supported by modern software (SolidCam, iMachining, Esprit, BobCAD-CAM). When developing tools and automation devices, we cooperate with our customers from the model design of the product, the methodology of making and constructing the tools, to first prototypes and test samples, and final handover of the tools to use. The tools are developed according to technical and technological requirements of the customers with the help of modern software for construction in space (Mechanical Desktop, Solid Edge, Solid Works), while the machining is done with the state-of-the-art software for milling (Mastercam, SolidCAM, iMachining, Esprit, QAPT, BobCAD, Metrosoft). The wealth of experience in tool making, understanding of what is happening in the tool, precise measurements during optimization and tool testing enable us at the Libela orodja tool shop to discover and eliminate errors prior to the start of serial production. Detailed tool designing and selection of methodology with high quality making of tools are expressed only when testing, assembly and launch of a tool in a serial production of the customer are successfully and timely completed.
  • 3. AUTOMATISATION At the Libela orodja tool shop we develop and manufacture special purpose machines for tending machines with workpieces, assembling and controlling products, welding, bending, cutting, punching, drilling, milling, threading and the rest on a “turnkey” basis. Automation of manufacturing operations increases work productivity, ensures reproducibility and product quality, enables production of more complex and attractive products. Scrap reduction and productivity increase raise job security as well as safety in the workplace. With the development of modern technologies and forming processes, prototypes have strongly increased in importance. Unlike virtual models, prototypes enable haptic and spatial perception as well as testing in limited series. The Libela orodja tool shop develops and manufactures prototype tools for various manufacturing processes.
  • 4. TOOLS TRYOUT Detailed tool designing and selection of methodology with high quality making of tools are expressed only when testing, assembly and launch of a tool in a serial production of the customer are successfully and timely completed. Tools for steel metal forming are previously optimised and tested on a drawing hydraulic press Lasco with the table dimensions 1600 x 1000 mm and mechanical presses ILR 160 with the table dimensions 1134 x 889 mm. SMALL BATCH PRODUCTION By using the technology of machine pressed parts and machine perforation we manufacture all types of pressed parts, sieves and strainers, fences, sound protection, wall panels, protective and tread sheet metal. We produce also smaller series of more demanding semi-manufactured products from the fields of tool making and machine manufacture.
  • 5. PERFORATED METAL SHEETS PRODUCTION Verified production technology, long tradition and comprehensive planning guarantee the quality of our products and services. The technological procedure of cold punching, mechanical cutting and straightening of sheet metal are used in the production of perforated sheet metal.
