Leukemia is a cancer of blood-forming tissues that leads to the uncontrolled growth of abnormal white blood cells, primarily affecting the bone marrow and bloodstream. In contrast, lymphoma originates in the lymphatic system, particularly in lymphocytes, and impacts the immune system via lymph nodes and other lymphoid organs. There are various types of both cancers, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Hodgkin lymphoma, which exhibit different characteristics and demographics.
