I will tell the kids: “Today I want to share a story with you”about a family.
I: Children, do you like stories?
Students: Yes!
I: Well today I will tell you a story about a family. Are you ready?”
Do you remember Buba’s family? Today we are going to speak about another family,
James’s Family .They are four, mother, father, brother and sister .Brother is a boy and
sister is a girl. They are very happy .How do you feel? Happy or sad? I will mime with
my face when we are happy or sad. James’s family are happy because James’s
mother is going to have a baby. They are happy waiting for their sister or brother. I will
show them a picture with jame’s family. I will say: mother, father, sister, and brother,
brother is a boy and sister is a girl.
Possible problem:
Students might not know how to name each member of the family with the new
vocabulary. I will provide the vocabulary and ask them to repeat the words.

I will explain to the kids that now we are going to do an activity where they have to
make a circle to the following pictures.
Then I will give the students the handouts to make a circle to the boy and the girl in
order to recognize newwords.
“Look at your pictures and make a circle to the boy and the girl. Then I will ask students
to paint the boy and the girl of the drawing (I will mime with a card of my own and I will
show the drawings on the board again)

I will walk around and ask them questions as they draw.
Possible problem:
Students might have forgotten the new vocabulary so I will provide it for them. I will
make them repeat it again. Some students might not understand the procedure. So I
will show them again the pictures and ask them to draw their specific one in their hand
out.
