The class was formed by a group of 12 girls and 12 boys between fourteen and fifteen
years old .The first day the teacher Valeria introduced me to the class. She had an
affective bond with her students at all times. The atmosphere was very relaxed and
comfortable. They were fun and enthusiastic all the time.
Children greeted me very happily. Then I started the class showing children the map of the
Buenos Aires province and speaking about two important cities such as Buenos Aires and
Bahia Blanca. Students participated with enthusiasm using the adjectives that they learnt
previous years. After that we worked with comparative adjectives comparing the two cities.
Students participated all the time answering questions using the comparative adjectives
and when I gave them a sheet of paper with the activities they were very enthusiasm to
complete the tasks. Only four children of the class did not want to do the tasks because
they did not to work in written tasks in the class. And also, in the group, there is a student
integrated in the class, he has many difficulties to understand the tasks. I have to explain
the tasks personally many times in order to help him to do the task.
Then, I continued the class with a game, some of them wanted to participate and some of
them did not want to participate. The winner group was very happy because they were the
winner and they won the game. After that, they went on participating with the last activity
with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. And I also had to help them when students ask for
help because they were demanding and they wanted answers all the time. They asked
for help in each moment of the class, for this reason I went around the class answering
questions from them. I want to stimulate and help them to go on working and provide them
all the tools to do the tasks successfully.
In conclusion, the activities were developed as planned and the aims were also achieved.
Some aspects that I have to improve can be the organization, the use of time because
some students take a lot of time to do the tasks, and other students finish the tasks more
quickly than others. I want to stimulate and help them to go on working and provide them
all the tools to do the tasks successfully.

prepared for this group of adolescents.

cities using the short adjectives. Then, we worked with information about two hotels from two
touristic cities and the different places to visit and know. We made comparisons using the long

of the previous class and we spoke about the zoo animals .I stuck pictures about Zoo animals on
the board inorder to workwithshortsuperlative adjectives. Itriedto be enthusiastic all the time

Englishclass.StudentsandIhad an affective relationship.Iwassurprisedalotbecause I saw some
children with great enthusiasm and happiness to participate and do the tasks. We continued
talking about the pictures of different animals and they responded very well to the different
activities with a positive attitude and good willingness.
At the momentof playingthe game, studentswere veryenthusiasticandhappyto participate init.
Many of them wanted to be the winner and they discussed among them who was the winner.
Theyenjoyedplayinggamesbecause theylearnplayinggames.Ingeneral,Icouldsaythat many of
students participated in each stage of the class in the oral and written activities.
I felt that it was a pleasure to reach the aims and to help them to learn the language in a
meaningful way. It was a bit more difficult to organize them to do the last activity and the game
but we fortunatelycouldpractice new structure of superlative adjectives and reviewed previous
topics successfully.
During this class, I cannot put in words all my feelings in my mind, I’m so glad of having this
enriching and rewarding experience in the classroom. I know that I have a lot to improve yet as
each level demandsalotof aspectsto be takeninto account. However, each practice helps me to
improve so I hope to keep on learning and gaining experience.
I think that I as a future teacherIhave to be able tobe flexible during each class and to be able
to adapt the topics according to the group. I have to help students to work with happiness and
encouragement in order to go on learning the new language in a meaningful way. I have to
stimulate andhelpthemtogoon workingandprovide themall the tools to do the tasks. And also
I have to help them when they ask me for help because they are very demanding and they want
answers all the time. In addition, I had to experiment a new challenge in this period.

each stage of the class. And some of the children did not want to speak in English
because they were shy. In this stage I could be see that adolescents need a lot of
motivation and encouragement in order to helped to participate and work in class. I had to
use different pedagogical tools to stimulate students to work in the class ,such as short
text where all students participate.
I did the presentation of the safari trip in South Africa using different visual aids. I could
see the students ‘faces. They were involved in the safari trip, they imagined each part of
the voyage in the wild place. They love and animals and enjoy speaking about them
because they want to learn about animals. In addition, they answered the questions about
each animal. Then I gave them instructions about the activities that they had to do about
the animals of the journey. This part of the class was very interesting because some
students wanted to participate and did the tasks about wild animals with enthusiasm. The
group of children that they didn't want to work in class I prepared oral activities to work with
them orally.
The group Students had to complete the text with the superlative adjectives. And they also
asked for help when they did not understand anything about the activity they had to do. I
felt very happy and involved in each activity because they always treated me very kindly
and they responded very well to new item to do in class. Then I gave them pictures from
different wild animals and they had to write a short text describing the pictures using the
adjectives .They enjoyed a lot doing this activity because they loved the pictures about
wild animal and worked with them. After that ,they had to read their text aloud. I learnt that
I had to plan carefully each activity according to the adolescent’s interests and their goals
because in this way, students work and learn with enthusiasm and gladly. Finally, when
time was over. They immediately stood up and went out to do a break.
I think that, as future teachers, we have to stimulate students to work with enthusiasm
and joy. I have to use different resources and didactic strategies in order to captivate them
in every activity. I can use different language skills, such as speaking and listening, in
order to stimulate them to work with interest because they have a positive attitude to learn.
This was a great challenge for me to face in my teaching practicum.
