This document provides instructions for logging into a tennisbase website and creating the first menu. It outlines logging in using the provided email and password, navigating to the profile and admin panels, and creating a new menu called "The Club House" under the "About Us" parent menu for a content page without changing the home page. It concludes by stating that a page now needs to be created and content added for the new menu.

4. Type in your email address, and the
password we have sent you. Then click
on the Log in button.
5. You have now reached your ‘Profile Page’.
This is where users manage their accounts.
Now you need to go to your ’Admin Panel’
to manage the back end of your site
6. Welcome to you ’Admin Panel’. This is where you do all of your site management creation
and development. Don’t worry if you see the System Error massage, you can just ignore it.
Also please don’t access the ‘File Manager’ folder in the top right.
7. Clicking on the little house icon to the left will take you back to the front end of your site.
8.
9. And clicking on the little arrow symbol to the right will log you out all together.
10.
11. OK lets create our first menu... Go to the ‘Menus’ tab located down the left side of the
’Admin Panel’
12. The Club House
In the ‘Menu Name’ field, type a name for your menu. We used the name The Club House
13. Now select a parent menu that you want you new menu to be attached to. Or leave it on
the top menu bar. We will attached it to the ‘About Us’ menu.
14. Next, select what type of content you wish to use for this menu. We will choose a ‘Content
Page’ which means we will create our own content.
15. Select to publish your menu… but never set it as a home page. Your ’Home Page’ menu is
already set up so you just need to edit the content on it.
Changing the homepage menu can cause your site to crash.
16. Now you can see that your new menu is set under the ‘About Us’ menu.
18. And save the new menu by going to the ‘Add Menu’ tab in the bottom left hand corner of
the ‘Admin Panel’.
19. You will then see the ’Success’ message in the top right corner of the ‘Admin Panel’. Your new
menu is ready to go… All we need to do now is create a page for it and add some content
