Vin Jones is a social and organizational strategist who has worked with large companies and government agencies. He argues that organizations should embrace failure as a way to learn and grow. There are three types of failures: catastrophic, which are sudden and total; apathetic, where people don't care about failing; and intrinsic, where failures happen but are viewed as necessary for learning and driving innovation. The key is having an intrinsic approach to failure where organizations fail, learn from it, and grow stronger.
