Learn2Teach:Teach2Learn aims to expose 3,000-5,000 youth to emerging technologies and sciences to catalyze cultural change around what youth can achieve. The program teaches interactive programming, image editing, music composition, and more using Scratch, GIMP, Pico Crickets, and other tools. Youth teachers are broken into groups to solve community problems using the skills learned, presenting their projects at the end of the summer program. An example project was an alarm system with robot guard programmed in Scratch and using a gogoboard for wireless communication.

12. How L2TT2L ties in to OLPC -Every student should have their own computer because this maximizes the hands on experience gained from our lessons -We believe in the mass expansion of knowledge and would like to see programs like ours carried out on a larger scale

13. Getting our XO’s -Thanks to OLPC, some of our youth teachers were given XO’s -We developed basic tutorials for things such as adding Activities the the XO and using the various programs that the Xo has to offer such as Flipsticks and TurtleArt.
