This presentation covers the below points:
1. What is meant by "thinking like a leader"? How do leaders think?
2. Identify and evaluate a leader who displays exemplary leadership skills. How does this leader think? Why did you choose this leader?
3. In your opinion, what makes this leader successful? Provide examples of his or her success.
As an executive recruiter with over twenty years’ experience, I’ve learned to spot the qualities of a good leader. Leadership traits are not one-size-fits-all; in fact, research shows that the best leaders tailor their leadership style to the situation. Some leadership characteristics, however, are consistent across the board. Leaders understand what needs to be done and motivate others to work towards a common goal. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said it best:
“A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.”
We'd like to take a break on presentation techniques and share with our viewers a slideshow featuring leadership lessons from former South African President Nelson Mandela.
Transcript Below:
1.) “A good leader can engage in a debate frankly and thoroughly, knowing that at the end he and the other side must be closer, and thus emerge stronger. You don't have that idea when you are arrogant, superficial, and uninformed.”
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
2.) “It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership.”
“Resentment is like drinking poison and then hoping it will kill your enemies.”
3.) “Long speeches, the shaking of fists, the banging of tables and strongly worded resolutions out of touch with the objective conditions do not bring about mass action and can do a great deal of harm to the organization and the struggle we serve.”
“Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”
4.) “Real leaders must be ready to sacrifice all for the freedom of their people.”
"Action without vision is only passing time, vision without action is merely day dreaming, but vision with action can change the world."
5.) “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
“Courageous people do not fear forgiving, for the sake of peace.”

The Powerpoint talks about the leadership skills of Nelson Mandela and how he reached that stature. It also mentions the different types of leadership styles that he portrayed.
Leaders are not born.....instead they are created....Well, Leadership quality is not mere a single quality but a blend many special qualities....This presentation will giv idea about those qualities with enough pictures....
This presentation covers material from John Maxwell's book, "The 360 Degree Leader." Specifically, the first of six sections is presented, including "The 7 Myths of Leading from the Middle of an Organization" and "5 Levels of Leadership Development."
What is today’s leadership struggle? It seems people with loud voices are overshadowing true leaders. The loud bombastic attackers, those who label others are being called leaders. In some ways loud bombastic leaders show some of the above defined leadership qualities, but really are self-serving idealogues (fanciful untruthful ideals) and do not care about nor support followers.
I created this final presentation for my MA Organizational Leadership Class, Assessing Leadership Skills. The presentation breaks down the different types of leaders into "hero" categories to make it easier for students to relate to each personality type.
Six-Hats Technique
•Many major international organisations use this technique for problem solving
•Each „hat‟ represents a perspective or way of thinking
•They are metaphorical hats that a thinker can put on or take off to indicate the type of thinking they are using
•In a group we can ask members to „put on‟ different hats in a sequence to aide the problem solving process
•This can help overcome the problem of each group member adopting random positions at random times
•It also permits us to control people who insist of sticking to one perspective (ie. negative) -we can ask them to assume a different hat.

objectives. I think that’s what separates leaders from managers.
Managers tell people what to do and leaders inspire them to do it.”

The Art Pastor's Guide to Sabbath | Steve ThomasonSteve Thomason
What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
