2. What is laser tag?
Laser tag is a game played with players divided into two
teams (usually 4-14 players)
The game usually takes place in an indoor area lit by black
lights
The object of the game is to score points for your team by
“tagging” players on the other team as well as their base.
The team with the most points at the end of ~10 minutes
wins!
3. What is the equipment?
Each player has two pieces
of equipment: a vest and a
laser
After receiving vests and
markers, each team goes to
their base and charges their
lasers
4. How do I play? (scoring)
Players tag members of the other
team by shooting their laser at
parts of the other team’s vests:
• Shoulders
• Chest
• Back
Players have ~20 shots before they
need to recharge their laser at their
base
If shot, a player cannot shoot for
several seconds and needs to find a
good hiding place.
5. How do I play? (strategies)
Players can be a lone wolf or a team
player.
Players can be aggressive/offensive and
attack the other team’s base or
conservative and defend their team’s
base.
6. How to play (postgame)
At the end of 10 minutes, the game is over, and the
team with the most points wins.
After the game, players can pick up their score cards
to see individual scores, who shot them the most,
whom they shot the most, and the MVP’s for each
team.
