Project Description
AMDOCS:
AT & T is involved in ordering of wholesale service providers in which SORD-PB(current
project) is part of that does order distribution services like it receives orders and validating
the some fields according the conditions and requirement and distributing to different
interfaces for order distribution.

3. SYNTEL LTD
First Data Commercial Services (FDCS) is involved in Merchant Acquiring and Processing,
Telecheck and Debit/Gift card processing in USA and parts of Europe. It is an ‘Acquirer’
taking care of the transaction validation, processing and funding between the merchants
and the banks/Associations like MasterCard and Visa. FDCS receives transactions from
the merchants. It then verifies, processes them and finally funds the merchants for these
transactions.
 Merchant Account Initiation (MAI) is the part of First Data Merchant Acquiring,
which performs the credit underwriting of new merchants and additional accounts
boarded to North, South, Omaha platforms. It scrutinizes the merchant account and
approves or declines or rejects the applications. During the credit underwriting
process, a new account is evaluated by Analysts, Investigators and Credit officers.
The information needed for the underwriting process is routed from various boarding
tool sand bureaus. MAI electronically queues accounts for credit investigation,
analysis and automatically pre-screens the applications, prepare score cards,
consults credit bureaus for credit verification. MAI has interface with major credit
bureaus in US, UK, Canada, and Mexico to perform credit check of the merchant.
MAI also has interface with various third party tools such as FICO.
