RATIONALE:
Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health (MAPEH) comprise areas but revolved into one. It is in this subject where students enhance
prior learning and develop knowledge and skills in which they are going to pursue as they go through life’s battle. These honed them to be
better if not the best in their chosen field.
As part of the K to 10 curriculum which foresees developing 21st century skills among learners. MAPEH is designed as learner-centered
based on spiral progression process. Knowledge and skills are grounded in performance-based learning. Also included are the enhancement of
values and experiences in physical activities to achieve health-related fitness as well as optimized health. Thus, learners are expected to be
involved in the activities designed for them.
